THERE IS A GOD!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS, TODD!!!!!!! I've kept the TV onto Channel 4 waiting for any announcement - I should have known, the computer would be the one to tell me.
I knew he was guilty. Thank God the Jury saw thru all of Molina's lies. Maybe you will get him afterall, Todd!!!!!!
At least another slime ball is off the streets for good.

Enough Said Nah, as a cop killer this guy shouldn't need that in prison. He'll have status. Very suprised that arrogant Donalty kept them that late, rediculous Also very suprised that they still convicted after hearing the definition of reasonable doubt. How long until we hear about jurors being pressured by others to change their minds and vote guilty?

He will remain in OCJ until May when he will be sentenced. If I remember right, I think the date will be the 22nd of May - but I'm not positive. After that, he will be on his right to a State Prison which I hope will either be Clinton or Attica - both are maximum security prisons and not nice places to spend the rest of your life in.
Remember, this slimeball is only in his early 20s - if the Judge gives him Life with NO Parole, he is facing a long, long time being caged up like an animal.
I applaud the Jury on this case as it was very difficult and required much common sense and intelligence to figure out all the lies these slimeballs were telling.

i can't believe donalty kept the jury this late[/quote....................................................................................... From what I read, the Jury took a break for Dinner and it was at their request to continue deliberations into the evening hours. All the Judge did was grant the Jury their request. Judge Donalty is a tough Judge on these low life criminals and I hope he gives Molina the Maximum Sentence possible.

the state has up to two weeks to get him from OCJ after sentencing. I'll have to ask my BIL where he thinks he'll end up. I know donalty is a tough judge, and there is no question he's getting life without parole.

Judge Donalty is not that tough a judge. I've seen where he tells the defendant that if he rejects the plea offer, it's gone forever, only to allow the defendant to plea to that offer on the day of jury selection! If the deal was truly off the table, Donalty should never allow that behavior and require the defendant to plead guilty as charged, if he suddenly realizes he's going to prison if the jury hears the case!

Swimmy = Judges usually do what the DA wants them to do! In the example you posted about, it was probably the DA telling the Judge to accept the plea offer on the day Jury selection was going to happen. It happens all the time.

everybody gets out of prison eventually, his exit will be in a body bag, accidents have a way of happening.

You're right!!!!! I doubt there will be anyone who will shed a tear over his death.
Do prisons still have Prison Graveyards to bury prisoners that no one wants to claim?

Not on that particular case. The DA was specific that once the offer was rejected it was gone. The DA in the case I'm referring to was furious that donalty forced his hand and sabotaged the case by allowing the defendant to plea to the no-longer-on-the-table plea offer. The DA told us interns later that he would have preferred Donalty to force the defendant to plea to the charges and offer the minimum sentence allowed, to show that it doesn't pay to delay delay delay and waste everyone's time and money. I tend to agree with that assessment.

Do prisons still have Prison Graveyards to bury prisoners that no one wants to claim? The answer is yes and only if nobody claims him. He will most likely go to Attica or Sing-Sing. Both are Max Prisons. We can only pray for Attica because they don't play like the Prisons down toward the City. I once listened to a Inmate phone call (this is periodically done and they know it is being done) to his wife. He was crying and stated "they don't play games up here, something is wrong with them (Guards) their vehicles all have tail gates on them". We got allot of laughs from this along with other comments he made. Molina may be forgotten in the media but I assure you his cowardly act of violence will never be forgotten within the brother hood of local law enforcement in and out of Prison.
