www.uticaod.com/homepage/x1056535371That is the article. I think the DA could have stated this a little bit better. We'll probably be reminded of that quote the next time OC DA is up for re-election. I can hear it now, DA Mc Namara is indebted to a drug dealer. Rivera should take a hint and get out of town, better yet, out of state. No idea who Cirino rolls with, but no doubt, being Rivera's testimony to "ice the cake" sooner or later someone will reach out for him. And while the DA and UPD got a conviction from Rivera, they'd just as soon forget that he is somewhat heroic in all of this given that his life was also in danger that night. No, he'll be forgotten and when they put a toe tag on him they won't shed a tear for a drug dealer that helped convict a cop killer.

Oh I didn't doubt your comments, I was simply responding to your question of whether that meant rivera has a "Get Out of Jail" card for any future crimes he commits.
It will make for an interesting election, if that quote is brought up.

That is too easy for him. Remember, he is a coward; he shot an Officer in the BACK of his head - couldn't even look Officer Lindsay in the eye before shooting him. He wouldn't have the b-lls to kill himself!
Keep him alive as you would any caged wild animal and feed him prison food and always have to watch who is near him, who is in back of him, etc. - every day he is kept alive.

Swimmy,
You got to my curiosity with the other thread in the dyeing forum so I had to go read it for myself. I started from the very beginning and could not believe what this asshole GMO posted.
I should have just walked away but instead I left a post. Don't really care if and how he responds to it. I just felt slightly obligated.
CAUTION! Thelma, DO NOT go and read the other forum. I'm afraid if you do you will be on trial next haha!

I did the same thing you did Todd. Some people just don't think about this stuff so have no clue and just run at the mouth.
I can just picture it........."Oh, your passenger wants to get out and wipe off the tail light and try shooting me in the head? Not a problem, let me turn my back first."
Someone doesn't want to admit that Molina was already "in the hole" and every time he opened his mouth just dug it deeper.

One thing to realize now, once he does get life, is he becomes more dangerous than he was before. Think about it, once he becomes a lifer, he's got nothing to lose. He wants someone hurt or killed outside of prison, big deal. What can they do, give him another life sentence? Some of you might be suprised at the depth of criminal activities going on the "inside", seriously.

molina is just a punk with no "juice" if he had any standing in the gang community or let me say it again "juice" rivera would have been dead long before this came to trial.

Froggy - Yes, a lot of know that "hits" can be ordered from inside a prison to someone on the outside willing to fulfill a favor and risk being locked up themselves - or even shot and killed.
I, personally, doubt whether Molina has those kind of contacts. First of all, he isn't a native of the USA - he was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Second, he is only 24 years old; not old enough to have that many people indebted to him.
Did you forget that the UPD first got his name because someone ratted ON HIM!
TODD - I'll take your word and not go to the "other" Forum. What I don't know won't get me upset. I'm too "old" to go to jail now! It was probably someone with "Los" mentality that would make such an ignorant statement to begin with - and I certainly don't need his type of remarks to spoil my day.

He may not have had enough juice on the outside, but sooner or later on the inside he will. I don't suppose holding a grude for a long time against the one person who's mouth cost him his freedom is out of the question. Wouldn't suprise me in the least at some point Rivera gets snuffed. And if he finds himself landing in prison, watch out, I could just about guarantee it.

well, as a convicted cop killer, doesn't already have "status" in the prison? He'll have all the "juice" he needs to put a hit on rivera.

swimmy, are you referring to my example of the use of irritainer in a sentence? I had no particular forum in mind. Meanwhile, the GMO is still trolling the OD forum.
