I will just ask for a change of venue, where you don't have your influence, haha. The delete button works quite well for deleting any posts or threads that might not be favorable to my case, LOL.

Jon- Do you remember the job we played, when Joey DePalma was playing sax, when we put a hat on his head, doused it with lighter fluid, and lit it? Then made a ring of lighter fluid around him, on the floor of the stage, and lit it? We wouldn't let him take off the hat until he finished the song! In retrospect, it was a beyond stupid idea. Johnny frantically hurried to get thru the song, the manager of the place was livid, however, the kids in the club went wild, and, after all, that was the main objective. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid! We were very fortunate that there were no injuries or fire damage. God protects his idiot children from themselves.

In retrospect- I can make no excuses for that spur-of-the-moment prank. It was an incident that, from what I observed (I was playing drums at the time), lasted about a minute, in an environment more controlled than candles on a birthday cake, in someones' home. I mention it only to illustrate the insanity that was experienced on some of those jobs.

So sad when some people can't handle the power they think they have. Go for it my friend. I'll just keep you mighty busy on that delete button to the point where you'll need therapy for your fingers. ;D

I think we all can take some kind of blame.I find it hard to even try to say something on any thread now not knowing if I'll step on some more toes or higher up's.but once in a while I'll say hello to all and to all a good night.Tony Cee told me the other day he had his Christmas party last week and all the old player in bands were sorry they did not make the jam.But on the other hand said they will get there next year. That's some good news so lets get all the players signed up now,let me know.

Johnny Depalma was in my first Road band (Fun Company) in 1971. He was a great sax and flute player. I learned quite a bit with he and Bobby Eliot(B-3 and trumpet). Johnny would whisper to me, (this ain't church music, belt it out). Bobby instructed me on the different techniques between the piano and organ. I was fortunate to have such talented mentor and tutors in my younger years. BobbieZ and JayP, it's so easy to step on toes. BobbieZ will tell you how much I used to enjoy it. LOL

Don't take BZ and I seriously Jay. We have known each other for years, and none of our banter is serious. We simply play one upsmanship on here constantly. I don't know if you met BZ, but she is a sweetheart, and a wild and crazy blonde spitfire. I have learned over the years that I can't beat her, but I can at least stay somewhat even with the board, ROFL.
