This is why my retirement job seems to becoming more and more sensible. When I retire I am going to travel the country and be a vigilante sniper. Read local papers, set up the target, and eliminate. I have watched enough news footage of the other shooters over the years around the country that do these mass shootings, anbd they got it all wrong. I have learned by their mistakes so as not to do the same. I do need a driver so if anyone wants to forward a resume, feel free.
Seriously, someone else posted that this only inflames the situation and that is 100% accurate. I would be willing to bet the hair on the back of the necks of UPD officers is still standing. It is on mine as well as my blood boiling. If these people could possibly find some self esteem and respect and pull themselves out of the gutter, get a job and stop leeching of the working man, maybe attitudes would change of them. However they don't seem to want to help themselves, so why should anyone else help them. God helps those that help themselves. Maybe we should pull UPD troops out of the war zone and let the civil unrest rise to the point that they kill off each other. Then throw the survivor(s) in jail for eternity for countless counts of Murder. This was totally assinine of the Disgrace to report that quote, however it did serve the purpose of educating everyone outside of that area what scum lives there and what UPD is faced with 24/7/365. Pray for UPD.

Has anyone sat in City Court for a few hours? I have and it is amazing to see some of these "animals" and their "attitude" towards the Judge when they are brought in from OCJ in their orange jumpsuits.
Instead of answering a question from the Judge with a "Yes/No Your Honor" - they say "Yea". Forget about the English language' they have a language all their own which I never can understand.
They are definant; totally ignorant, and hard core criminal right to their bones. There is no saving these kind of people and IMO - they should be shipped to a desert island and let them kill each other off! The last one standing will die of starvation as there won't be anyone left they can steal food from.
Call me a racist or any other name, but IMO they are nothing more than wild monkeys wearing clothes!!!!!!!

Wcup102, I was just talking with my father about this. We need a real batman, or more seriously, a real-life Jodie Foster from The Brave One. To avoid any state action (hence having that pesky constitution get in the way), have a computer genious hack into the PD's database, and start pluking the targets off one-by-one. I'll be your driver if you need one. ;D
Thelma,
In high school I interned at the Utica City Court through BOCES New Visions -- Legal Professions. You are totally accurate with the criminals' demeanor. I find it interesting how so many insist they are guilty until jury selection day. It's like a light finally lit up and they realized that they'd be convicted and serve the better part of their lives in jail. Then they beg the judge for the plea bargain that was gone once rejected. You already know my feelings about the judges allowing such crap to happen. Only once did I see Judge Dwyer refuse to let the defendant plead to the plea offer. He made the defendant plead guilty to the crime charged or proceed with jury selection. The coward finally plead guilty and a 60 would-be jurors were furious that they wasted their day for that.
My favorite is when the defendant is escorted into the courtroom in shackles and they are looking at the crowd and smiling to their friends, like it's cool to be in orange.

Swimmy - What amazes me is I've never committed a crime in my entire life. BUT - being in a Courtroom scares the hell out of me.
When I was working for an Agency that protected the rights of mental patients , this Agency was under the jurisdiction of the 4th Judicial Dept. (Supreme Court), In order to be hired, I had to have my fingerprints taken and run thru the FBI data omputers to check for any criminal background. I can still remember how intimidated I felt when the Police Officer was "rolling my prints"!
I had to sit thru many Courtroom Retention Hearings and always found being in a Courtroom very scary. This is why I am always so amazed when I see these hoodlums act so cocky when they are brought into Court before a Judge. If I was in their shoes, I would be so scared, I probably wouldn't even be able to talk - LOL!
I was still working for this Agency when I had to apear in Court for my final Divorce proceedings. Judge Sullivan felt so sorry for my nerves that he held ALL the proceedings in his Chambers just so I would NOT end up having a nervous breakdown - LOL!
I would never make it as a criminal as I would be caught very early in my criminal career and when I would be brought before the Judge, I would end up having a complete nervous breakdown qualifying for an insanity defense - LOL!

For a law-abiding citizen, it's hard to walk into a courtroom and not be filled with awe and respect for the law. I've been in countless courtrooms many times observing court procedure. And no matter the court (town, county, Supreme, or Appellate), I still get chills down my neck each time I enter one.
I was observing Judge Dwyer's court one day. And this one defendant was not happy that Judge Dwyer would not lessen his plea offer sentence more. He plead guilty and after the proceeding was all over, the defendant was escorted back to the holding area. As he walked by the judge, he uttered, "frigging faggot judge, you be sucking my dick some day." Or something close to that. I was impressed with Judge Dwyer because I would have leapt from the bench and beat the punk. But the Judge just called him back in, re-opened the proceedings, and found him in criminal contempt of court. From there, the original 4 year sentenced jumped to 7. This wasn't good enough for the defendant as he said, "As I said on my way out, judge-y." The sentence was bumped to 14 and he was admonished from the courtroom. The DA, defense counsel, and all us law-interns were very much intimidated by the whole thing. Last I heard, that defendant still has a 14 yr sentence.

The Avenger is already take too, I think. How about Bad Cop? Or Dark Cop? Or just "The Sniper"
You never know where he may be laying in wait, stalking his prey. Hours, days, he silently stalks them, one-by-one they drop! If you've got a criminal history, you might be next! Watch your back. And if you see a red dot, run for cover! Because the Sniper has you in his cross-hairs.

Not bad, Swimmy.! I like "The Sniper" name. Can't you just see it now - A retired cop and his two backups - two retired ladies.
No one would ever suspect us! Just think of all the "clean up" work could be done before we all got too old to have the strength to pull the trigger anymore!
