Sounds good Kit, but sounds like a lot of work. I think I will just come to your house when you are making it, and pay for the ingredients and let you do your magic, haha. I will keep it a secret that when you can't find that piece of white cloth, you use a clean pair of jockey shorts. ;D

I do not eat anything I can't pronounce ;D
Just got off the phone with my nephew (Utica) We were talking food and he gave me the recipe for one of his salads...sounds good and very simple to make. Can eat it hot or cold.
make some orzo, add chopped tomatoes, green scallions, some fresh lemon juice and olive oil. Doesn't that sound yummy.

Sounds good to me Chris. I am a hot pepper fanatic. I may try that combo with a diced jalepeno and a little fresh cilantro torn and sprinkled over it. Kathy has made me an avid fan of vinaigrettes made with lemon or lime juice rather than vinegar. Very snappy and tasty without being harsh or sour. She makes an awesome pasta salad with pasta, diced tomatoes, diced green bell pepper, two cloves of garlic put through a garlic press, oregano, and a vinaigrette made with lemon juice. Lemon juice and a little zest in a salad dressing wakes it right up and makes it fresh and bright tasting. Thanks for the recipe Chris.

I'm not surprised that you're shying away from my recipe, Clip. Most people nowadays are either too picky about what they'll eat, or too lazy to spend some time in the preparation. But believe me, the results are worth it. Rome wasn't built in a day, you know.

I am far from picky Kit, although I have never had a taste for lamb. I love greek and lebonese dishes, the sauces and such, but don't do lamb. If it can be made with beef, count me in. Back in the day my grandmother used to have roast "mutton" now and then. Much more gamy tasting and nasty than the average young lamb. It turned me against anything "sheep related" for the rest of my sorry life. I don't even like the smell of lamb cooking. Sad. I hear there is nothing better than a good leg of lamb with mint jelly, but the thought gags me. I have eaten just about every critter that can be consumed by man, and it is strange even to me that I could enjoy a roasted or grilled raccoon, but can't choke down a lamb chop, lol.
Your recipe with the beef, sounds great. I simply am not that patient. I would eat it and enjoy it if Kathy cooked it though. She is patient, and attentive in her cooking. She takes real pleasure in preparation, and I take real pleasure in EATING, haha. We do eat a lot of things in the form of wrap style sandwiches. I love roasted vegetables in a wrap, as well as most meats. Home made breakfast wraps rate right up there with chicken wings or pizza for me. I love finger food, and anything that I can pick up and eat with my hands fires my rocket. If ya can't "wrap it", just pile it on a biscuit and I am a happy man.
Kathy likes the sound of your recipe, and says she may make it some day soon, but she also says it sounds like a lot of work to prepare. I think the draining the yogurt and such is what makes it sound labor and time intensive.
