Then was is the County Democratic Chair and the Utica Democratic Chair hosting the press conference rather than city hall itself? Are they afraid that angie will call the 1,000+ signatures crackpots?

I don't know about the law pertaining to such things, but I don't think it is illegal to go door to door with poliltical petitions is it? Sounds like some more Roefaro BS to stifle the voice of the people and to prevent them from seeking the signatures. This guy is a real rodent. Does anyone else see a slight resemblance to a cross between Drew Cary and a ferret, or is it my imagination? haha.

So, it will be county issue after 3:00PM? Look, I'm not trying to pick on Larry. I like Larry. However, for better or worse, Larry has positioned himself as an outspoken reformer. If it was an easy path, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now and every politician would be a reformer. Honor and accomplishment comes to those who dare to risk. It’s only going to get harder, not easier the longer Larry is in office and as his dependance on the system increases. If Larry has spoken up, great, but where is his statement? I never saw it. If it was accidentally deleted, why hasn't it been re-posted? If he released a statement, why did he release it here and not to the OD? They have been more than willing to quote him in the past. Right now, Larry is straddling the murky, mushy middle ground. His mysterious statement stays posted here long enough to keep his reformer cred intact in the blogosphere while he keeps the Democratic half of the "usual suspects" gang happy with his public silence. All I’m asking for is straight talk from Larry: if he supports the mayor, then say so, if he recanted his earlier comment then he should say so instead leaving everyone wondering what happened to it.

Fair enough. And only Larry can answer those questions.

It's not on Swimmy. Not even WIBX. Judge Judy is FAAAAR more important. Like I said, City Hall is dominating the press and calling the shots.
WKTV says watch for coverage at newstime.

We have been advised not to disclose such and I will abide. Let's just say we've been through a few boxes of pens the last couple of days!

SO get this. ALLEGEDLY, Angelo Roefaro once threatened to kill a school administrator and barely escaped being thrown out of school. Might there be criminal charges that went along with that? It was on a Facebook page he abandoned. He's since whitewashed it. Wouldn't it suck if I had made hard copies? Check the pipes though. www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2200325179Almost forgot the funny part where a friend suggests "you should require all of your residents to join..."

I like the ironic part, he's disgusted with Mr. Newall's non-racist remarks, but can do a great "Cajun black woman impression."

Hi guys Sorry it has been awhile. Busy with the new house. and planning the wedding.... So I figured i would jump on this about Roefaro. I am so glad i didnt vote for him. If they come to my neighborhood I will sign the petition. I bet everyone will since Tim Julian is our neighbor , and i would have rather had him back in office. I heard that one of the men (not sure if it was williams or bailey) coulld not be in the running for cheif, because they did not live in Utica.. I thought you didn't have to live in utica if you were hired before 2009?
