Clipper, when I joined the group in 1961 when Dale Ryder left, The Nitecaps never played at the Pine Lodge, but we were the house band at Massoud's Oud in Washington Mills for a while. We were a 4-piece group then... guitar, bass, drums and organ. We left there when we connected with a booking agent and performed in college fraternity houses, various bars, Sylvan Beach, and the location job in Ogdensburg.
