Yeah it was called my first two years of law school and no more competitive swimming. My metabolism stayed up while my exercise dropped off the radar.

I sent a pepperoni pizza and Italian pastries from O'Scugnizzo's to my sister for her 40th birthday. She lives in NC and says there is no good pizza places near her and has resorted to eating Stouffers french bread pizzas. www.uticapizza.comThey sent it packed well in dry ice, Fed/Ex two day. The price of the shipping very high, but my sister was thrilled to pieces!

Denise, where in NC is your sister? If she's anywhere near me (Greensboro), tell her to try Hungry Howies.
Clipper, congrats on the weight loss! When I got pregnant I wore a size 2 and weighed something like 105 pounds. Now I wear a 8 and weigh....uhhhhh....more than that! LOL! I don't care, though. I'm happy. :-)

Oh god, while you all are bringing pizza to people can I toss my name into the hat lol. I've been all over the place and nothing matches the pizza in Utica. Not even the pizza in Italy. I'm a Rosarios (N. Utica) and Gregorios (Mohawk and South) man myself. My first true love when it comes to pizza is Oscugnizzo's though, I hear you can actually have them mail it to you now. I'm sure it would cost and arm and a leg to send it to Spain lol.

Actually, the total would be $52.00. Good as the pizza is, I just can't spend that much for it! I also checked the Anchor Bar in Buffalo...they'll ship wings at something like $59.00 for 50 wings

Kim, If I EVER was a size 8 again (or even in the neighborhood of size 8), I would very much die happy.

most places outside of NY don't know what real mozzarella cheese is. When I was in MI, the only mozzarella they had was that Kraft pre-shredded crap. No place in Lansing sold real mozzarella. I had to have my parents bring me blocks of it when they came to visit. My landlord was wowed by the difference in quality of genuine Italian cuisine versus the area's alternative. If I fail the bar exam, I'm moving back out there and starting up my own Italian restaurant out there. Should be a hit.

I laugh when I think about the odds of a pizza ever getting to jrcummings in spain. It would never make it past the first security check. Especially if it was still warm and emitting that wonderful smell when they shipped it.
Those TSA screeners would have a wonderful lunch, while jrcummings waited impatiently for a pizza that is destined to be lost in transit, haha.
Congrats to all that are on the weight loss trail. I have struggled with weight ever since breaking my back, which limited my otherwise and previously active life. I also quit smoking and blew up like a balloon. haha. I ate every damn thing that couldn't run away or wasn't glued down, haha.
I am in decent shape at 240. I am a big boned man, and have no belly at 240. My doc says my ideal weight would be 180. Hmmmm. I could drink tomato juice and go to a costume party as a thermometer!!! I got out of the navy at 160, and soon put on 20 pounds. With that 20 pounds I went from a size 28 waist to a 32. I would be happy now with a 42, hahaha.
I always tell the better half that to get too skinny would affect our love life. I tell her ya can't drive a spike with a tack hammer, LOL. (IN my dreams)

When the heck did pizza become so internationally adulterated?? What the hell, pizza didn't come from hawaii, haha. Turkey bacon? When did they discover "side meat" on a turkey that was worth smoking, haha. Come on LJ! chicken pizza with alfredo sauce is taking off down here. We have to stand up to the revolution, and fight for pepperoni and sausage. That other sissy stuff is for mayonaise faces. ( Hmmm, I guess I am a mayonaise face, shhh, don't tell anyone)

back long ago.. somebody bitched when somebody put pepperoni on a pizza...
Clipper, you dont mean to tell me you still eat the pigs ass in this day and age?? sure turkey bacon isnt from the turkeys ass, but its not from the forbidden animal nor are you going to get an arteri clogged as quick...
try the rice milk concerened.. the vanilla one actualy makes a bowl of cherrios pretty good and the vanilla flavor almost coveres the lawn smell...
