BZ just wants to show off that all over tan from Jamaica, ROFL.   She will be out there for a moonlight swim and may wear her bikini to the reunion. wooohooo! ;D ;D  Yeah right....and then you woke up.  ;D  Just thinking if anyone is coming from out of town no matter where we hold it will be an inconvenience. Like Herkimer is still a drive away. When I reminisce about the good old days and all the bands my first thought is always back at Sylvan beach at Lake Shore, Forrest Hotel and DiCastor's where all played. Just seems right to be back there again for the reunions. Plus, if I'm not mistaken don't some of the guys have camps at Sylvan Beach and come in from out of town for the summers anyways.  |

We just have to take your word for it. I don't want to picture you laying on any beach in Jamaica nude, so here's hoping it's a tanning booth tan, lol. You ARE correct. We would not be treated to a view of the all over tan if you wore a bikini. My mistake, lol.

as I said BZ, it's a case of economics, or memories.....Jay should be treated a lot better than he has been in the past, and not to have to put up with owners who treat people badly....The "Silverado", is just a thought, and the owners are very open to all events, and venues, except for "all over tan contests".....................

BZ, take a ride down to Herkimer one of these Friday or Saturday nights and check out the Silverado. Get off the Thruway, turn right onto Rt 28, and then another right just past Denny's and just before the railroad overpass. Go down there a ways and Silverado is on the right. You would probably like the place if you check it out.

Don't get me wrong guys, it's not the business place so much or holding it at the same business the last two were held. I was just thinking of the nostalgia and memories Sylvan Beach does add to the reunion for most of us.

I kinda think like Bz, as far as the Beach is concerned. But on the other hand, so too is the valley nostalgic to me from a music point of view. And I can't see Jay having to put up with a lot of crap just to be at the Beach.

12 North would be the best choice as an outdoor venue, Silverado would be a nice inside venue.

well like I said nothing is in stone yet time will tell and I can not raise money for the kids if the owner wants to charge at the door for himself. I might have misunderstood you Sonny.I'm already talkingwith the owners at 12 North but like I said nothing is in stone yet.When I pull my hammer and chisel thenwe will knwo for sure..lol Bobbbbiez can show off anything she wants because she is she.....you go girl.....sorry about the beach but two years of bullshit from the owner and the lack of help and respect will not do for me and anyone that comes to my reunions....not once did the man thank mefor all the profits he made which could of been a lot more if he listen to us....Just for you Bobbbbiez I'll bring some sand from Pensacola fl, plus a little rubber pool of sea water for you and only you..will that help you out any?  ? lol |

YES I'm checking out all places even the beach again some places will and others won't.It is so much to take in. one wants here, one wants there, one thinks about the drive home, being drunk, one thinks about the old days and it goes on and on.Just remember it's all in your mind the old days and the new days where ever it is, it is for the children not for ourselfs so much.We as grown adults can have those past memories, but do some of these children have that same chance to have those past memories????NO BUT I HOPE WE CAN GIVE THEN SOME KIND OF MEMORIES..........No matter where it is we will still be friends doing what we use to do back then have fun and enjoy the company of old friends and make new ones as I did in the past two years over these reunion. I hope to meet new friends this year.More I think about it not many of you didn't know who in the hell I was back then, just some skinny little white boy playing all that soul music with some soul brothers....Let's just hope we can have it somewhere this year.God Bless you all..........NYE
