No offense intended, but excuse me while I chuckle and wonder why those folks who haven't already moved away from the Utica area don't DO something about the political nonsense and stop just talking about it. Talk and arguments are cheap, but they don't get anything done. I guess the idea is to just watch as Utica goes into the pooper and then bitch about why it did. No truer words were ever spoken and if there are those who are willing to get involved it's the same people over and over again working alone while others sit at home and do the bitching.

I guess the idea is to just watch as Utica goes into the pooper and then bitch about why it did. it takes money and party backing to run and all the local parties are too ingrained in an incestuous relationship to allow any free or logical thinkers into the fray...and how many of us would welcome the digging and scrutiny that dirty politics in this area is noted for...

You're right, Corner. It wouldn't be easy to change the political atmosphere in Utica, but there are two choice... either someone has to do it anyway because it's necessary, or stand by giving opinions and watch while Utica goes swirling down the toilet.
Your quote at the bottom of each post says, "I won't be wronged..., etc." Your profile doesn't say where you live, but if it's in the Utica area and you're affected by its politics, you ARE being wronged, just like everybody else. So who's going to stand up and 'git-r-done'?
