No dear, I meant your head, smartass. I hope you foot is doing well though. Glad to hear that you have the stitches out and can get around better. Probably still can't put on a shoe though can ya? I never heard of anyone getting a swelled foot when someone complimented them, sheesh! Won't be long and you will be at camp now. RJ's peace and quiet will be all over, hahaha! Did you guys go to the library for that meeting tonight? If so, how did it go?

Still have to wear the surgical shoe for another two weeks or until the Doc tells me to get rid of it. It's an ugly freakin thing and really cramps my fashion buds. Hopefully, camp will be opened for the Memorial Day weekend. All depends on the weather and the foot but that's what we're aiming for. Can't wait! ;D I'll let Frankie tell ya about the meeting. He's the man and puts things into proper perspective. Plus, I love hearing him comment on things. No one does it better then Frankie. ps: There is no place RJ gets peace and quiet. You should know that by now. ;D

Oh! I forgot to identify the woman in this photo, "mis-identified" as our own Lucy in an earlier post: She is Ethel Barrymore, the great stage actress of the late 19th century, and film actress right through the 1950's! Here she is in 1896, the year the Genesee Flats (later the Olbiston) burned down. A member of the great thespian family of Barrymores (actual family name Blythe, Ehtel was the sister of actors John Barrymore and Lionel Barrymore, the aunt of actor John Drew Barrymore, and the great-aunt of actress Drew Barrymore. She was also the niece of Broadway matinée idol John Drew Jr and early Vitagraph movie star Sidney Drew. And by the way, my apologies to Will for stealing his thread. Although a common occurrence here on our fun Busy Corner, I understand he was quite put out about it and commented such in another forum. Sorry, Will.

Some friends and I visited with Bobbbiez and her family at her camp on Sunday. As you can imagine, there were a few laughs involved.
The Utica Oneida County 9-12ers are marching in the Memorial Day parade at 2 p.m. today. Our goal is to attract interested people and get them involved. I hope to see you there!
