Most Busy Corner members think our moderator Kim is a sweet young woman. Others know better, and have the snapshots to prove it.
Invited to the only formal occasion they ever will be, during dessert the unpredictable young mom decided the table cloth (below) would be preferable to the "little black dress" in which she arrived. Hubby was a tad embarrassed. Not Kim. She went on to dance around in the drapes, the couch cushions and finally a roll of paper towels.

Hahahahaha! I remember when they took that photo at the doctor's office. Or was it at the barber? It's true that I often disturb Mrs. Dave's peace. Sometimes I'll roll over in the morning, wake her up and ask, "What's new?"

Ralph only has one gag left Sunshine, and he is saving it for a certain outspoken young blonde lady.

Lemme see here. While Ralph is working on one, perhaps I can find another for Blondie.

Ever wonder what Jon H. does when he's not knee-deep in old newspaper clippings, tracking down the cause of an apartment house fire in 1896? He commutes to the Big Apple, of course ... New York City! You just know old bass players don't easily give up the limelight.
Here's a shot of Jon on the Great White Way hustling for a few dollars. He gets help from a few true believers behind him wearing red tablecloths, which he had earlier tried to sell to Ralph while pitching the idea of an Italian Night at the donut shop. On Broadway, it's much safer in a group, and Jon makes a lot more money these days, compared to when he walked around alone dressed in a monk's robe and a tin cup.
He still has the cup, however, for the long drive home.

WestMoGuy didn't send a picture, but his meteorological assistant did ... of herself! She's a bit of a show-off, but who cares! Snowy writes that working for WestMoGuy isn't all peaches and snowballs. She has to get out there in his backyard before sun-up each morning to read all the instruments and test the snow in the winter. She gave an explicit description of how she tests the snow, that I can't repeat here, but it must be some sight for WestMoGuy as he sits at the window sipping his coffee. And believe it or not, her real forte is testing the wind gauge, which as a non smoker she's really good at.
Snowy says she got the job by answering an ad that said, "Wanted: Someone who can blow real hard."

Bobbbiez gets a tune-up. It looks like she's in a standard firing range, but in fact it's the Tub-O-Suds laundromat in West Utica, where the firing of a few rounds is never a big deal. So, while waiting for her Capes to dry, our Crusader pops off a few .45's , and if she happens to hit a passing dope dealer, it's no big deal. Not only is spare time good for firing practice, the place clears out when Bz comes in with a load, and she never has to wait for a dryer.(Passing it on the Arterial, I always thought the Tub-O-Suds was a bar!)

And here's one more shot of ClarenceBunsen, dwarfed among his stacks of Scientific American magazines. Clarence reports that he is now almost as old as his collection. CB's signature scarf, worn like a bank robber, has not endeared him to the bank, his employer or the neighborhood. On the other hand, he'll feel perfectly comfortable walking under the police cameras he's sure the Democrats will want installed on every street corner in America.
For the children, of course.
