oh it was just me the crazy one who responded. After I posted it I decided it had to much of a slant on philosophy and theology. I am trying not to talk that stuff anymore because it turns people off. Working on this with my shrink.Trying to get to the middle of the road just short of an ass. lol

I, for one, enjoy reading your slants on philosophy and theology. I'm just now figuring out that when I graduated Catholic high school, I thought that I no longer had to learn more about theology. Meanwhile, I have continued learning about reading, writing, mathematics and who knows how many other subjects. But not a bit about philosophy and theology.
So now I'm back to learning more about religion. Uh, I suppose that might make me crazy too.
Did I mention I'm a libertarian veteran?...

Did I mention I'm a libertarian veteran?... Hoorah my friend! While I grew up in a VERY republican family and I still hold onto my conservative moral values at present I think I would not consider myself as leaning to any particular political party although the libertarians are more along the line of what I have been thinking lately. Join us on the Utica912ers my friend. We need more people like you. We are having a meeting on 5/5/09 at the Utica public library music room at 6:30pm to 8pm. Hope to see you and anyone else that wants to come there.

No accusations of anything... Just like healthy debate is all. I see the numbering of posts now.. Didn't see that before. Just the course of conversation was confusing. Cheers all! Oh, the confusion! Ah, no worries, mate. Confusion happens ALL the time around here! ;D

Will, did you notice Dave's picture in the dictionary when you looked up the meaning of curmudgeon?

Yep, and he was looking like his dapper and handsome self, haha.
An irascible, cantankerous, old person, full of stubborn notions??
I am surprised that there is not a complete rogues gallery of a whole bunch of us here at Clipper's Corner, or simply a link to our site.

Well, it turns out that quite a few members of this forum have emailed me photos of the gang, although seldom of themselves. There is usually a note attached to the photo, and it often begins, "In case I die in unusual circumstances....." OK, first ... of course ... we have Frankcor, caught in a shot as he was leaving the security wagon at a Caribbean Love Fest held in Stittville last year. He got on the end of a line of Jamaican musicians in a Steel Band, but was caught when the guard noticed his drum was actually a large tub of peanut butter. Had he not tried to play it, the ruse may have worked.

Now, you probably thought that the pledge of allegiance was something said only around military bases and baseball fields these days, but in fact, it was quite popular where Swimmy went to law school. Here's Swimmy demonstrating the way they did it his class. They often just jumped up and said it 5 or 6 times each day.

Will, you'll have a ball if you join us at the Summerfest this year. Many of us met last December at the Denny's in Utica for an evening of coffee and cake. The Admins broke off for a special secret meeting. Here they are in the photo below. From left to right is Ralph, Kim and Clipper. That's me on the end, trying to talk them into charging $300 for membership and using the proceeds for a trip for the four of us to Tahiti.
