www.wktv.com/news/local/17913769.htmlOK! Now this guy definitely deserves the Dumb Ass Award hands down. What a bumbling idiot. To jeopardize everybody's safety including his two small kids for some small time misdemeanor offense. Give me a break! Once again there should be a stupidity charge added on to the charges if there was truly a law that existed. ;D Hey swimmy, how do we get this law added in? This is truly needed. LOL.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to breed.
He's one of them.

Nice to read that the tazer guns are being used. I bet they get a work out this summer in the hood, unless everyone is playing basketball, peacefully, at the James St sub station.

Hopefully they get used in more places than the hood. Varick St may be a good place. Remember this was the Sheriffs Dept. not UPD.

Did ya see the neck and shoulders on that dude? I imagine he could SERIOUSLY resist. Why should a deputy get hurt fooling with this idiot? I would use a taser too! I can see by the picture that he seems to have "fell down went boomy" some time during the arrest! hahahahahahehehehe! Poor "brutalized" idiot will most likely have a lawyer filing on the alleged beating before he has a lawyer to defend the charges filed against him. I wonder if there were any "educational" knots on the back of his head to enforce the "psychology" he received when he hit the ground with a "tingle" rattling his teeth from the taser? hahahahaha! I love "justice at its fundimental best"! Can you imagine abandoning your kids on a city street to run from a traffic offense? How stupid!

I would love to see the Prison system start using these to eliminate injury to Officer's during a use of force incident. This would also cut down on compensation and law suits from the inmates against the State. A win win for everyone involved.

What a dumb a--!!!! Where the hell does he think he was going, except to jail. It does amaze me when one breaking the law doesn't realize the Police have radios to track them to other areas. He started in W.Utica and they got him in Marcy. Bet his big a-- was tired. ;D ZAP HIM AGAIN!!!!!!!!! One for the road. Todd, I'm pretty sure in the near future most law enforcement agencies will have tasers at their use, including the correctional system. No reason not to provide them for the safety of all involved.

;D Read it again sunshine! It started in Marcy on Rt. 49, and ended on Lafayette St. in the city! I know your subconscious would rather have him leaving town, instead of ending up in W Utica, but it was sheriff's deputies who pursued him INTO town, haha. We forgive ya. Easy enough mistake to make. Maybe it is a conspiracy by the county deputies to "herd" the criminals out of the rural areas into the city, where they can be concentrated in a smaller area! Ralph, one piece of advice, RUNNNN FOR INDIANA, AS QUICK AS YOU CAN!!!

Clipper, either way the end results was still the same. Just the Sheriff department got a taste of what some Uticans are like. The idiot is from Utica. Hey, why warn Ralph to get out of Utica so quickly? Don't you want to live as we do my friend? Besides, if you do come back to Utica as you plan some day, why would you advise the "good" people to leave. Who would be left to clean up the scum? Then you would be standing alone my friend, , and don't come back with you'll live on the outskirts because the scum are slowly migrating to those areas to. By time you get here I'm sure the scum will have their welcome signs out for you. Can't wait for you to come back!

;D Well bobbbiez, I will be back, and I will still be fighting for revitalization of the neighborhoods, but that doesn't mean I have to be stupid and buy a house in declining neighborhood! That would be just plain poor financial planning and an even worse personal decision. I find something kind of beyond my comprehension, when a person lives in a neighborhood where it is neccessary to call the cops 4 or 5 times a day, is knee deep in drug dealers and crime, and then can't understand why anyone would want to move out, or at least not want to move in??? By the way, there has been scum in N Utica for years. Just go there at night and look around on the street corners and at the convenience stores. I sympathize with your situation sunshine, and understand your dedication and stubborness in fighting the decline, but that doesn't mean I have to be dumb enough to want to live there, simply because I advocate cleaning up the neighborhoods or saving the city from decay. If I DID own property there in the decaying neighborhood, I might stay and fight, but I don't, so why in the hell would I want to move there and live in the middle of a battle zone. I may be a little ignorant sometimes, but I damned sure would not take my hard earned equity and dump it into a declining slum area. Not only that, but until you learn to shoot straight, I don't want to live on your block, haha. Ask anyone that advocates taking back the streets, such as Thelma, Todd, Corner, or others, if they want to sell their houses in North or South Utica, or the suburbs, and buy a house in the inner city. That would be just plain frigging dumb. The comment to Ralph was a pun, having to do with the scenario of having the sheriff's deputies herding criminals into the inner city, but you are too impassioned with your own cause to see the attempted humor. Not to mention the health issues of Ralph's wife. Indiana simply happens to be where he chooses to go. I could have advised him to move to N Utica, but I happen to know that moving to N Utica would not resolve the health issues.

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew you were joking. Damn Canucks can''t get anything straight. Know exactly why Ralph and Betty have to move and have already voiced my disappointment in losing someone who truly loves Utica and beat his a-- to the ground trying to improve things. Ralph is alot like me and not afraid to live in the city and stay on top of the problems coming into our neighborhoods. He and Betty will be missed by me and many others. I wished them all the very best, but I'm still very sad to see them go. You can't understand why people like me refuse to move? Well my friend, this has been my HOME for almost 28 years now. HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of blood, sweat and tears to buy my HOME and pay it off. It is where I will stay and once I'm gone my kids can do whatever they want with it. Even if I decide to sell and move wherever, I'm 64 years old and do I want to start all over with another mortgage because there is no way I will get what my HOME is rightfully worth because of the neighborhood it is in, but yet I have all that money invested in it already. We're not talking about a rundown, old house, we're talking about a really gorgeous looking house inside and out that was kept up throughout the 28 years. Very easy for you Clipper and others to say, "sell and move," but remember this, if all of us left the city where would everyone in the surrounding areas be in a few years? Besides the fact, the scum has already started to move out of the city limits into those surrounding areas. I ain't a runner or am I a quitter. When I say I love my city, I mean it from the heart and will keep fighting and hoping others will follow suit.
