Obviously someone is reading the posts. Someone just offered to buy my "Give Me One More Chance" 45. ;D ....Now what about "Your So Beautiful" and "Look at Me". With over 20,000 views, this is the most popular thread on the forum. And it's public.

Musicians of the 50s and 60s when our genre was just getting going, and especially those to came and paid to see and hear us perform, and to be our 'groupies' are some special people, indeed. Dave is right. 20,000 views doesn't lie. Although we perfomers may not remember all of our followers, they ROCK! (and so do we, or at least we did)
Our stories, and theirs, are priceless. I've learned a lot through this thread, and so have a lot of people. The remembrances keep my crotchety old mind young, and how much better can it get than that?

You are 100% right Kit! I've learned a lot here too! I have seen a lot of photos of people that I know, but didn't know were musicians....

Jon, was Adamo's run by Pete Perritano? I know he ran a restaurant downtown. They were our neigbors in N Utica and lived on Jamestown and Keyes Road, next door to Jamesbreadfrombond.

I knew some Perritano's who were friends of my outlaws....Paul and Stella Perritano. They lived on Miller Street. Stella was a beautiful seamstress.

Thanks Jon. I thought so, but was not sure. It was during that time that his wife Annie had a horrible wreck on Herkimer Rd. and was busted up pretty badly, with broken arm, broken leg, and other injuries. She was lucky to live through it. She was like a "neighborhood mom" that all the kids took to. Of course they had a very pretty daughter that insured that the boys would be nearby, haha.

Presty and I worked at the base together for years. He used to deliver my supplies. He was one of my best friends in his later years. We lived across the street from him on Domenica and Herkimer Rd. and I took care of his lawn and snow after he had his stroke. He was a good neighbor and I miss him. We still stop to see his wife, Katie, whenever we are in town.
Carl passed away a couple of years after we moved down here. Katie has had knee replacements and has a hard time walking. Her grandson (Donna's boy) lives with her and helps her out. If ya get in the neighborhood stop and see her. She talks about you "kids from the court" all the time. You and Rippy and the Barr kids.
I remember Presty's stip club well. We used to stop there, the Elbow Room and the Little Big Shot back in the days when those clubs were popular. Hell the girls still remained clothed enough to be decent back then.

Hey Clipper, did you know that TR was a very good friend of Presty's and worked there as a waitress for years for him. Vinny and I use to go there all the time not to see the chicks but to visit with TR and Presty.

Went to my grandson's ball game tonight and met up with long time musician and friend, Joe LaPaglia. Seems Joe's grandson is on my grandson's team. Very nice surprise to see him again. Joe hasn't played in many moons, but told me that he bought a new keyboard and is thinking of playing out again. I told Joe about Clipper's Corner and all the guys who have been posting. His eyes lit up hearing about y'all, so don't be surprised if ya hear from him. ;D
