bobbiez, remember I said ammerican women were "Fabulous", They are, it's just that if you have never seen european women, you can't compare the two. European women, are the unattainable, the creme de la creme, the women you want to bring home to mother, but afraid father might have other ideas. lol!!!!!! I must be part European or better cause the guys I dated won't afraid that much about their fathers with me. It was their younger brothers. ;D

Pink Hot pants, Jay tell me where it hurts so I can fix it with a left hook. Bobbiez, I remember all those great costumes you wore at the Halloween gigs, and yes I could always recognize those blue eyes of yours. I remember one Halloween you showed up at the monarch as a TV set and I recognized you from the stage. Sonny, Many years ago I had the disenchanting experience of dating a few European women from slovic countries; I also dated an Italian from Venice and a hairy Lebanese woman from Beirut. Give me an American woman anytime of the day or nite. My American honey loves when I open the door for her. Variety is the spice of life but American women are the best. I'm TonyJ and I approve of this message.

Haha. I still do all those chivalrous things for my Kathy, but my day wouldn't be complete if I didn't pick on Bobbbiez a little. Can't be ruining my rep ya know. I can picture her dressed as a tv set. DID IT HAVE A VOLUME KNOB YOU COULD TURN DOWN? ROFL

dave, somehow I knew I would hear those lines from you!! "Did it have a volume control?" Hey bobbiez, how big was the screen? 19", 21" (lol) My point has been attained, and all of us guys from the old school, treated those ladies, with respect, and dignity, and yeah bobbiez, you do find the keepers and that's all that's important!!! Chris, where in germany where you born? I remember being in "stuttgart"," Bad Durheim", "Sembach", "Kaiserslautern", "Manheim", and a few other bases, but don't remember the "Chickenflecken"... Jay, got a great idea!! sell your drums here, go to germany, buy a complete new set of "Ludwigs", because that's where they are made, at wholesale prices, do the tour, and then with all the bread you'll be making, they will pay for themselves. Then all you have to do is ship them back with you one-way. Hey tony, sorry about your bad experiences with some european women, guess they didn't like your pink Leiderhosen....(lol)... I feel a fist coming thru the internet.... gotta go!!!!

ROFL! I almost spit coffee on my keyboard when I read your reply. Those women are after me alright. They all want to smack me around for picking on them. Especially Stoney and Bobbbiez, haha. :)I have only known Bobbbiez since the 70's, but she is a sweetheart and a real character. I guess we spend about half our time online picking on each other. I love ya Bobbbiez, even if ya are a pain in the Dupa. Did ya notice that whip that Stoney carries? I have spent the last couple of years trying to stay one step ahead of the lash, haha. I keep her stirred up too. She is a cute, smart, vibrant left wing liberal, and I am an old and ugly mmiddle of the roader, leaning toward the conservative right. Our politics keep us at odds, but I love her anyhow, LOL. We need for Jon Hynes to get back here and post some new pictures and history of the band scene to give us something to comment on that is more on subject. Hurry back Jon. I hope you are okay my friend.

I remember one Halloween you showed up at the monarch as a TV set and I recognized you from the stage. To this day I don't know how you did that when no one else could. My favorite was when Eddie made me an actual Dracula's coffin with smoke coming out of it and all and I was laying inside as the king of vampires himself with my sister and girlfriend dressed as goulies pushed the coffin around. Rich Hickel at Club Monarch even made a place on the dance door for Dracula's wake. That was so cool and did I ever rake in the cash at all the club's that year. ;D ps: For certain people......the TV was an 19in with moving pictures with no volume control on it so I could tell people as yourself to "get the hell out of my way!"

Yeah Clipper where is Jon? Wish someone would find out if he's ok. He is missed. Do you know if Ralph got those pictures of the reunion alright? If so, can he put them on here for the guys to see?

bobbiez, that is my point!! You would much rather have men treat with you the respect you deserve, and not be treated as "one of the boys", when it came to common courtesy. Women today, european, american, asian, it don't matter, they are beginning to look like, and act like, "one of the guys", with their tatoos, all over their bodies, and wearing boots, and swigging beer, just a complete turn-off for me!! I will still open doors, send flowers, take her out for dinner, serve a nice bottle of wine, great music, slow-dancing, breakfast, just all the nice things to do, to show her appreciation.. Ask a guy if he takes his girl to dinner, and you may get: "costs too much", or no time to do it, or, and this is the best:... "She doesn't appreciate it"... Give me a break!!! pay attention to her, and stop treating her like "one of the guys", and maybe she will appreciate it. Chris, sorry, but "Fulda" doesn't ring any bells for me... I was stationed for in the "Ruhr valley" of germany... and again, some of the most beautiful scenery in the black forest ever...

You can probably call me as kind of a tom boy (do have a rose tattoo on my shoulder) who does like being "one of the boys" once in a while (especially since I have four of my own), but I also have the common sense to know when to be a lady. Guess it works cause my man treats me like a lady at all times and he knows I appreciate all the special attention he gives to me. Let me put it this way......no other man can turn my head. You can have the best of both worlds if you know "when to hold them and when to fold them" It's like being a bartender or a band member. Most are not the same people or act the same when they are out of the work place. I always put it in the same category of being a damn good actor.

yeah bobbiez, we usually get tpecast, with the bartenders, as to having the best chance of getting the girls, but what you say is true, if you're getting prime-rib at home, why settle for a hamburger!!
