Just received word this morning, my very good friend, and one of the greatest guys of country music passed away this morning...Bob Lynn, a true gentleman in every sense of the word... He was a warm person, and always willing to help up and coming musicians, as well as a great entertainer on stage.....He will be missed...

I am very sorry to hear that Sonnydee. I followed Bob Lynn's band for years. He was a great singer and musician. He was a favorite at Partners Choice for several years as well as other venues in the area. Not only a great musician, but also a great man and good friend to all he met. May he rest in peace.
When did he pass away and what happened to him do you know?

Bob passed yesterday in albany, where he was undergoing treatment for cancer, a type of cancer that he has had for quite a few years, but continued to spread, and last I heard the doctors discovered another mass, which was inoperable, and he passed.....We had some wonderful times, at partners choice, and always will remember him and I onstage together, just singing requests for the audience, and enjoying his great identity with all of his audiences.

Very sad to hear we lost Bob. I knew Bob well since I worked in most places he played in and always enjoyed chatting with him and listening to his music. He made a nights work go by very fast and enjoyable. Happy I got to see Bob last fall when his son, Robbie, did some major plumbing for us at our new homestead. Because of "old times" Bob and Robbie treated us so well in their charges and took care of a very bad problem we had. Great family! My deepest condolences and prayers goes out to Bob's family and many friends. RIP Bob. You will surely be missed by all.

I remember al when he was playing with gates intino, at Dischavios", and later we became close friends when he started doing his single act. I bought many a car from him at carbone pontiac, when he was there for quite a few years, and always talked about the "Good days", and how the music today has become so "Electric", and white-washed. A great personality, easy-going, and well liked, all great assets to a fine musician and gentlemen. condolences to the family...
