Are there any Hamilton College Republicans? I mean, walking the streets, allowed out of confinement? Dave

Yes, they have exactly one. He's been gutted, quartered and is hanging at the campus gates with the following sign hanging around his neck: "Don't let this happen to you."

They have way too much money at Hamilton to be 'hippies'!

I would be willing to bet that there are more people named Hillary on that campus than there are Republicans.

Hamilton College is funny. Obviously, I never attended as I couldn't afford it and my grades were nowhere near good enough for that school even if I could have afforded it, but I did use their library a few times when I was going to MVCC. I went to MV then UC. Anyway, I'd go into their library and you could just tell I wasn't a Hamilton student. I drove up in my crappy little car, wearing my jeans, sneakers and black leather jacket...wow, did I stick out like a sore thumb or what? Nice library, though!
I wonder how people afford to go to Hamilton. I mean, I got Tap AND Pell...not many people get Pell, and I still had to work my ass off to pay my bills!

Grant money and college offered loans is how they proposed for me to pay tuition. I didn't go because it would have bankrupted my parents.

Pretty campus, though. What was the movie shot there in the late sixties or early seventies?

I never saw it. I should watch it someday and see if I can recognize anything. And Slap Shot...gotta watch that someday as it was filled at the Clinton arena.
I still have a tape of Ed Hanna back in 1996 or '97, doing an interview with someone who was highlighting interesting people. It's hilarious! I keep it around so I can look at the Utica scenes and to show people at parties. It always gets a laugh!
