They have We the People convinced that They the Politician not the Vote is powerful, therefore we vote for the Powerful Politician because they promise our existence yet our vote promises us nothing.
Lets face it, Between Book-Face, Tweeters, Social Networking, Work, Kids, Homes, Vacations, Taxes and 500 other distractions, the Voter doesn't have the want, the time or the compunction to be informed.
Two Parties offer Two different platforms from which to choose and thats easy peasey, we love that! How Ironic is it that Americans would never accept just 2 Sport Teams, 2 Beers, two Restaurant Chains or two Clothing Designers but Two Political Teams is AOK for 90% of the Country.
When your down and out, you probably aren't thinking much about voting, if you do, its likely going to be for the one that promises you more, its just that simple and sad.
