I know what you mean Jay. In all my travels over the years as a truck driver or when I traveled frequently in my civil service job, I never saw those hot dog rolls anywhere but New England. I have bought store baked rolls in Krogers and I split them on the top rather than slice them like to presliced rolls. I simply like the hot dog or sausage to sit nested in the top of the roll, not have the roll fall in two pieces when I try to eat it. When we have keilbasa or Italian sausage sandwiches we buy 6 inch hoagie rolls and split them on the top like that so they hold the onions or peppers better and don't fall apart. Gee BZ, I hope Honest Johns is still in business for the families sake. It was a great little business and an outstanding product. They were always my first choice for keilbasa. Kathy likes Hap's keilbasa and I like Pulaski Meat Mkt's keilbasa, so we always have to buy a little of each when we pack the cooler to come home from up there. First we stop at sunset carbonic for dry ice, then Hap's and Pulaski, and finally at Chantry's for their store made Italian sausage and a 5lbs of Hoffmans franks with the natural casings. Geez. I am getting hungry and can't wait to be up there. PORK STEAKS ON BZ'S GRILL RULE by the way, lol!!! You ain't here yet so don't do anything to screw it up. ;D |

I will retract my last statement Swimmy. In rethinking the entire situation, your friendship and support are worth much more than a slice off a pigs ass, hahaha. I guess I will just have to go to Flo's and get the SECOND BEST pork steaks.   Be very careful it a situation arises where it is loyalty to you or a batch of little blueberry tarts, and DAVE is forced to make a choice.  Phyllis said that's fine with her. She'll eat your share. ;D ps: Not blueberry. It's cherry mini cheesecakes for Dave and lots of them. |

I thought it was little blueberry tarts that you brought to the picnic. I am not a sweet eater so I don't really remember. I DO remember the pork grilled pork steaks from the next day though. I still have time to throw swimmy back under the bus before August so don't feed them to Phyllis yet, hahaha. ;D |

lol! lol! lol! When are you and Kathy coming in? Have a lot going on in August with lots of out-of-town friends and family coming in to stay with us and my class reunion. Just want to know so I'll try to keep some dates open for you. PHYLLIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leave Clipper's steaks alone! ;D

We are coming in on the 8th and staying until the 18th. Wedding on the 12th. I don't drive straight through any more. We leaving here on the 7th and are staying over in Chambersburg Pa the first night and will get there the next afternoon. We just cruise along at about 65 or so and don't push it. ( Hang loose Phyllis, I will share)

When you make your visit here to my house and can make it on a Monday or Tuesday then Ralph and Betty can come over also. Ralph is off those days. Just let me know what days are good for you so I can plan our meal. Any days are fine with me. Every Sunday we have a big get-together with friends and family and you can come over then also. We have a lot of fun. |

Cool, I will have to get with Kathy and let ya know. Probably a Monday or Tuesday would be great. I leave our schedule up to Kathy most times. She moved here to care for my mom and dad, so when we go "home" it is her time to be with her family and I work around her schedule and plans. I will let ya know ahead of time though. Can't wait to see you guys and Ralph and Betty too.
