I won't elaborate, as it is not my place, and Bobbbiez can fill us in when she next comes on the forum, but her son Mark is in the hospital after suffering a serious health related incident over the weekend. As per conversation with RJ a little while ago, he is doing better and is stable now.
I am sure Bobbbiez will update us soon, or give me permission to provide more details.
Just send up quick prayer for Mark, and keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Hate to make this thread so mysterious, but I wanted to make sure we all were praying for his well being, while I do not want to overstep and invade his privacy or hers either. Bobbbiez will be back as soon as life settles back to some semblance of normalcy. Hopefully real soon
I am sure that all our prayers are not only appreciated, but are also heard. Keep them coming.

Just got off the phone with Bobbbiez. She had just walked in the door after an exhausting day with her son at the hospital.
He had a fairly minor stroke, although minor is hardly a term to be used to describe such a devastating event in a young man of only 47. He has some slurred speech issues, and will be there for a few more days as they are doing more tests. They are not sure at this point what actually caused the stroke.
She thanks you all for your continued prayers and sends her love.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Much needed at times like this. Very quick up-date on my son's condition. He did suffer a stroke actually on his 47th birthday. He is at home today and is fairly stable. His doctors are pretty sure after all the test that the bleeding in the brain has stopped and he should be out of danger at this point. He does have some damage to his speech ability but is having speech therapy. The doctors are pretty sure his speech should improve and be back to normal with the sessions. Very scary for all but will just have to take one day at a time. My time is limited with all going on but I will be thinking of y'all and hoping y'all stay out of trouble. ;D God Bless.

Just got my son home from the hospital when lighting hit a big tree in my backyard a few hours ago scaring the crap out of everyone here in the house. Thank the good Lord when it came down it only hit part of my patio roof and didn't fall on my house. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They are working. My son is home doing better and my house is still standing.

Hey look at that tree thing like a small blessing. It will give your canuck lumberjack something to do with his chainsaw and he will be able to take the wood to camp. Hell of a way to get it though. Hope there was not too much damage to the patio roof. Love you guys, and try to get some rest kiddo.

I am happy to hear that the doctors are optimistic there is no permanent damage that they can foresee at this point. I hope he's ok.
