Bobbie, when you told me about this I did let Clipper know, but didn't know whether or not I should announce it on the board, hence I didn't. I'm glad everything's working out...

Yep, you did let me know Stoney, and I also was hesitant to put anything up on the board, but then I decided that we should at least ask for prayers for Mark, so I went ahead and put it up here. Hell, it would not be the first time that Sunshine gave me hell, if it was something that she didn't approve of, LOL. I am grateful that you did let me know. I remember Mark when he was just a kid. It is really scary when something like this happens to one so young.

My sincerest hope for Mark's speedy recovery.
Ask for a referral to Strong Memorial. I can personally attest to the fact that their cardiac department is unbelievably fantastic.

Strong is an excellent hospital, but a stroke isn't a cardiac problem. Faxton-St.Luke's is a regional stroke center and we have several good rehab programs in the area.
I hope he is continuing to make progress, bobbiez.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and concerns. All is greatly appreciated.
Quick up-date on Mark's condition at present. He had another CT scan done yesterday and the bleeding has stopped. He is stable with the bleeding and blood pressure. He still has the head aches but his doctor (neurologist) said they should cease soon. Mark is having speech therapy at Faxton Hospital and will continue with that until his speech and concentration improves. Right now it's just at the point where he has to be watched and monitored which I am doing. Like this morn I got up to find water all over my kitchen floor because he got up during the night to get a glass of ice water and forgot to shut the freezer door. With all of this Mark is handling the fustration very well and is looking forward to going back to work as soon as his doctor gives the ok. He is bored to death staying home with his mommy watching over him. lol!!!
It's been a very scary and tiring situation but we're making it through with all the love and support everyone, including y'all, have been giving us and we are very, very thankful for that.
God bless.

Clipper, I did try to answer you on facebook but I screwed up my computer some how and lost somethings. I don't know what the hell I did. I even lost my smileys here on the Corner. Don't know where they went. My spell check won't work either. Leave it to me. I should have left the computer alone for a while because I've been so tired and my concentration is shot also.

Oh dear, that is not good. Glad Mark is progressing and doing better. It is a long road sometimes to complete recovery, but at least he is on the way.
Sorry about the computer problem. Give Ralph a call and maybe he can guide ya through something that will get it straightened out .There are ways to restore things that you have lost sometimes.
Get some rest kiddo.

Glad to hear that Mark is doing better, that is certainly some scary stuff to go through.
You have any problems Bobbbiez just let me know. You're not that far away I can't stop by before work some afternoon.

Thanks Ralph, I just might take you up on your offer when things settle down here a little. I really haven't had much time to try to figure things out myself but I will try soon. If I can't figure it, I will definitely call on you. Mark had a very good day today with me and all his siblings. My daughter and I had a little silent chuckle when I read his Mom's Day card he gave me wishing me a Happy "First" Mother's Day. It was meant for his sister who just gave birth to her first baby, Giuliana. I got the card Mark meant for her and she got the card meant for me. Neither of us said a word to Mark knowing his concentration is affected by the stroke. Those two cards will always be very special to us for the reason Mark was here able to celebrate this special day with both of us. That is the best gift we both received today.

Stoney, thank you! It will take time but all is coming along pretty good with Mark at this time. I feel so bad for him cause he's dealing with this stroke and then yesterday his back went out. Two days ago a cyst formed on his leg. Poor kid does have his crosses to bear. He just wants to get back to work and feel normal again. Hopefully, that will happen soon.

Give Paco & Company treats on me. ;D Almost stopped to see you at DD's the other day but it looked like you were pretty busy and I didn't have a lot of time to visit. Too much going on right now and my time isn't my time anymore. Will try again when things settle down here at the home-stead.
