I would say that the local Democrat politicans who circled the wagons around this clown now have egg on their face. It turns out that the people's instints on this farce were right on target.

Don't count me in on that "loacl Democrat wagon". lol. I called for his public resignation over a year ago. He threatened me on the floor of the legislature and the Mayor promoted him for it. This is disgusting. The Mayor should resign and they need a complete investigation that looks at the County too. This wouldn't be possible without the help of Picente and Fiorini. Period. Check who the Chairman of the County's Civil Service Commission is. Check who it is made up of. Check financial disclosure reports. LaBella's replacement on the board made his first ever political donation the day after LaBella took the make-up exam. Who was it to? Picente, not a fellow Democrat. That shows who controlled the appointment to fill a Democrat seat. The point? It's not the Democrats or Republicans fault. It's a small group of corrupt SOB's that hide behind whatever party label best positions themselves for the office they seek. In the end, THEY call the shots on everything around here.

Well, a few of us listen to you Larry, and we grieve for your failure to be re-elected. Another term and you might have really shaken some of the rodent activity out of the legislative chambers and city hall as well. You are a victim of the crappy and underhanded politics that unfortunately have become a standard in that area.
Hopefully the two officers that were screwed by the mayor will get a second shot, and one of them will be appointed.
You now have a mayor that seldom even visits city hall, but has a nephew that runs city affairs for him. You have an unqualified police chief that was appointed by the unqualified mayor, and you have two very well qualified career policeman that have been forced into silence and submission out of fear for their careers by this crooked and unqualified administration.
If Roefaro insists on employing Labella in his circle of cronies, let him hire him to drive the hearse. I am pretty sure they still make black suits in size obese.
