well, Dave, I am not having much luck. I do not see "copy" image location, yet when I do right click I open a tool box on the bottom of which is a prompt called "properties". I click on that and open another window to the far left of the image which gives me the adress. Am I on my way?

If you don't see "copy image location" when you right click a photo or graphic, it's probably a flash image, which unfortunately (for those of us who like to steal photos) is becoming more common. Tell me what you're trying to copy and I'll go look at it.

OK. But I have another question about my last post. I see a lot of logical errors in the content. Should take it down and rewrite it?

Yes, that is the photo. Thanks for all your help. I guess I'll figure it out someday. When you linked on this did you see a "copy image location?" Also, I think I'll rework that post or mabye even take it down and replace it. However, I have been thinking, it's really the reporter's piece and his main object is to write a sensational story so he can not only keep his job, but perhaps some day move up to editor. And now, as then, you can't always believe what you read in the papers. Any ideas on that?

Yes, when I found the picture on Wiki, I right clicked and chose "Copy Image Location." Are you using windows or a Mac? Can't image why it didn't show up for you.
I think the story is fine! I marveled at how well you mimicked the style of reporting of that era!

I am using windows. Where is this prompt " copy image location?" Where on the image are you clicking? Are you clicking more than once? is this a box or a prompt I'm looking for? I have tried right clicking on many images, I get the same thing: A menu box to the right of the image and on the bottom it says "properties". I click on that and it opens a box to the far left of the image. Within is an adress and Url. That is as far as I can go. I made a few changes to the story, most grammatical, some logical, some to the time line.l I think it reads better. When I "brought in" that "reporter" he was even more flowery in his speech. I had to calm him down, he was so excited to be working again in the 21st century! I'm going to bring him back again, but not for a while. What is that they say about old reporters... they never die?

This is what I see when I right click an image. I don't ALWAYS see it, depending on whether the image is Flash or not. But on most images, yes, I see it.

Hold the phone ...... You're probably using Internet Explorer. I don't know how you get the image location address with that browser. Maybe Ralph knows. I use Firefox.

I see on the other thread that you did it. I did look briefly at Internet Explorer last night and could find no was, except downloading another program to work with IEXplorer, which I didn't you'd want to get into. So ... you'll have to teach me how to do it when I use Iexplorer!

Dave: I made the changes in all the pieces beginning with Sarah's Decision and I am satisfied with them now. Please make the necessary changes to the website. I am going to try and put up the pics of the Hotel Street bridge in a little while. If they don't look right, I will take them down and if you would please post them. Thanks.

Dave: Please make the necessary changes to the website. It will be a while. I had put it up in html, paragraph by paragraph. To do it all over again at once will take some time. Hey, I'm on vacation!
