How old are you? It might be before your time, but Nash's was during that time also. They were across the street from the plumbing supply place.

Don't ask me to lie...29 and holding ;D ;D ;D
I lived around the corner from about 52 to 60. Then moved to 900 Block of Elizabeth St. from 1967 to 77. (ouch...so that makes me older than dirt)
There were a few places there I remember where I use to buy my candy stash. ;D Mostly at the corner of Hubbel and Jay and Joe Bananas.

Chris, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ya don't have that title yet. I think it's mine, but I'm not complaining. Still here to brag about it. Don't know why you don't remember Colgate's. My son is around your age and he remembers going there with us. We lived around the corner from Colgate's for a while on Elizabeth St and upstairs from the Empire Furniture store also. Colgate's was one of my late husband's favorite places, so we went there quite a bit.

Denise, I missed something. What's the rainbow on the meat mean? According to my husband, the rainbow on meat is on its way to being spoiled.
