Mike congratulations. Very nice and my favorite color. How was it that you got a Hot Wheels to replicate your car. Did you ask them or do they approach you. Very interesting. I think there is much more to this Hot Wheels than I am aware of. I've always been a fan of things in miniature. Do you still have the roadster? My ex BIL use to be part owner of Utica Hydramatic. Not sure if any of the mechanics worked on race cars in their spare time.

Thanx Chris. If you don't already know and most here in Utica don't.... In the Diecast world I am quite famous. If you go to www.MikeZarnock.com you can see what I am all about. So to have my name on a Hot Wheels car and it being an homage to my real race car is kind of fitting. We (the guys at Mattel and I) were talking one day about the new Drag Strip Demons Series that was coming out and I said, "Man, it would be so cool to do my old Altered in that series!" We all laughed and said yeah and left it at that. A couple weeks later I get an email from Marketing asking if I really wanted to do it. Of course I said yes. They sent the contract and the rest is history!

Damn Mike, can I have your autograph? ;D I am very impressed with your accomplishment. You'll have to let us know when your car does hit the stores. I definitely want to buy one and just because you're a local boy. Congrats again!

Great! If I can't find them in the store please save me two. Got two grandsons who would really like them. I'll check the stores in June. Will all stores around here carry them? Let me know.

Me too..... Now is it better to keep it in the packaging. Do you do Paypal if I can't find one here also. ( I collect bears... I bet my 2 1/2 inch one would fit in there perfect)

Chris, I will give you one.... and yes, it is best to keep it in the package. Only because the package is labled with the name.

Hi Dick! I wonder if you still remember me? I used to be married to Terry McLaughin and we were always at Utica-Rome Saturday night at the dragstrip. I'm Kathy. We had a '68 Firebird. The last time I talked to him he said he had run into you at Cicero. Didn't we used to have a great time there. Ah.........to go back to those days which we didn't realize at the time were the good old ones.
