Many Dealings of Bill Clinton Under Review "The Obama transition team is focused on the wide array of Mr. Clinton’s postpresidential activities, some details of which have not been made public. This list includes the identity of most of the donors to his foundation, the source of some of his speaking fees — he has earned as much as $425,000 for a one-hour speech — and his work for the billionaire investor Ronald W. Burkle. "The vetting of Mr. Clinton’s myriad philanthropic and business dealings is “complicated, and it may be the complications that are causing hesitation on both sides,” said Abner J. Mikva, one of Mr. Obama’s closest supporters and a White House counsel during the Clinton administration. “There would have to be full disclosure as to who all were contributors to his library and foundation. I think they’d have to be made public.”" www.nytimes.com/2008/11/18/us/politics/18clintons.html?hp### Bill could be a real problem for HRC. The Obama Team could worry that foreign heads of state might not want to discuss topics with Hillary for fear they would be transmitted to Bill for his personal profit. Etc., etc. ### From CNN: WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former President Bill Clinton's international business dealings, global foundation and penchant for going off script could present a significant obstacle to Hillary Clinton becoming secretary of state, observers say. Bill Clinton's extensive global ties could cause conflict if Hillary Clinton is appointed as secretary of state. Bill Clinton's extensive global ties could cause conflict if Hillary Clinton is appointed as secretary of state. On the one hand, his established relationships with world leaders could instantly make the New York senator a welcome face in embassies around the world. On the other, his complicated global business interests could present future conflicts of interest that result in unneeded headaches for the incoming commander-in-chief.

She will get to Bill's issues later. She is still on her knees kissing Obama's ass for any chance to be a part of his administration after her rotten campaign rhetoric against him, and Bill's ranting like a moron.
Personally, I hope she gets callouses on those knees while crawling like a whipped puppy back to Arkansas and retirement. I don't think the people of NY will re-elect her. She is a spiteful, self centered, pain in the ass.

I'm with you on this one Clipper. The "only" reason I'd like to see her get the position offered is that we get her out of N.Y. and the country. ;D

Hey, I am for melting her fat ass down, and using the rendered lard for bio-diesel, haha. THAT would get her out of NY also. Heck if we rendered her big ass down, and then gave her an enema, she is so full of crap that she could probably be mailed back to Arkansas in a letter sized envelope with room to spare.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But we have a better chance of getting rid of her if Obama appoints her as Secretary of State. Means she'll have to spend most of the time out of the country. ;D Just maybe having to face her, our enemies might want to hide forever. Geez, Obama is much smarter then given credit for.

Ralph, you got that right. She must have learned that from Bill. PS: You're showing your age with that statement. Happy I'm not the only one whose kids look at them with that certain look.

What has she done/said that causes you all to hate her so much?

What has she done/said that causes you all to hate her so much? Speaking only for myself: 1) She carpetbagged her way into the Senate by running in New York. She knew she couldn't win on "home turf" so she came to the liberal Mecca of the east. 2) Her accomplishments since winning the seat are minimal at best. She's named a bunch of Post Offices, but has she written ANY substantial legislation? Admittedly this is where it becomes personal preference rather than substantive......... 3) She has always had an air of expectation that a position of power is owed to her, not something she should have to work for. 4) Not enough room to cover the issues I have with Bill. Lets just say I have problems with his morals and with her using the victimhood status to get where she is today. 5) Last (for now). The way her voice rises to shrillness when the adoring crowds get louder. I swear I've had to put two dogs down from hearing loss because of her. Those are the reasons off the top of my head, and just for the record I don't hate her. I just think there are about 5,999,999,998 people on earth that are more qualified and less dangerous than her in a position of power.

You can say what you want about HRC, but I'm still predicting she will be our next President, after the O-Man. And although I won't vote for her, she'll probably do a good job.

Too bad HRC wasen't a republican congresswoman. If she was, she could be In Washington for 20 years, do nothing, be incompetent, sit idly by while her district's economy goes down the tubes, then retire & collect a fat pension, & leave town. Then show up once in a while in her former district to have a building named after her while phony politicians shower her with false accolades. Sound familiar? Oops! I was thinking of Sherry Boehlert.

Gee, I didn't know that Sherry Boehlert was a congress WOMAN.
First of all, she would have to be a republican. I doubt that republicans would accept her as a candidate. HRC would then have to be re-elected for 20 years to be like Sherry Boehlert. Then and only then would she qualify for blind and bitter left wing liberals to taunt her failures and ignore her accomplishments.
I have my doubts as to whether the people of NY will re-elect her once, much less several times.
I get sick of listening to people blame Boehlert for the loss of Griffiss. I worked at Griffiss for over 20 years. I worked there under Alexander Pirnie, Don Mitchell AND Sherwood Boehlert. Believe me ALL of them worked to keep the jobs and the base viable. They saved jobs and programs at that base for eons.
Hillary Clinton would have to be around for 40 years to accomplish what Boehlert did for the area. She doesn't even realize that the people of Utica/Rome exist except as a few voters. She could give a shit less about NY or the Utica area.
HRC isn't worthy to squeeze a pimple on Boehlert's ass. She has done NOTHING for Central NY.
Now that she lost the primary, after tearing Obama a new one in a nasty primary campaign, it cracks me up to imagine the ass kissing that must be going on right now, while she jockeys for position in the cabinet. It would be ironic for her to serve "only at the pleasure of" the first black president of the United States. The same man that she found "unqualified" to do the job.
