Hey Kit! What are you doing here? How did you find this? I know you didn't find it through MY blog because you once told me blogs were a waste of time and you didn't read them. ;-) Anyway...welcome! I hope you stick around and join in the fun! :-)

Kim, You know I'm old and therefore a little slow, so it's going to take me a while to get the hang of this site and learn to navigate. Anyway, a friend sent me the link to this site, and I have to say (just between you and me) it's pretty awesome. I'd be interested in talking about the old bands from the 50s-60s, and what I know best - microencapsulation as pertaining to nuclear physics.

Thanks for the welcome aboard, but you really need to be careful with Kim. She can be a bit of a rascal as I've heard. With her being where she is, and me being in central NY, I only see her once, maybe twice a year. What we really need for her to do is run the Utica Boilermaker next July. We can cheer her on and everything - then go over to her house, drink all the beer, schmooze a little with Mom and Dad and crash in her new camper. Yeah! That's it!

Yeah, a rascal...but I learned from the best! ;-)
Alright, everyone can come over and drink all the beer, but you'd better not lose it in the camper! I think everyone had best crash at the next door neighbor's house instead. They annoy our entire family, anyway, so we can annoy them by having everyone crash there.

Yeah, your mom's the champ! She's a Spartan like Uncle Dave. But probably best we don't go there right now. Okay! Over to the neighbors! Parrrtteeee! In my Duh-ness I forgot to thank my friend Paul for making me stand in The Corner. It had to do with drumming and the old bands. Thanks Paul. I can think of places way worse to stand. By the way, Kim, what were you doing up at 7:26 this morning? Hmmm?

Yeah, Uncle Dave...:-o Hey, I have his email address, but it seems his computer is upstairs and he doesn't go upstairs, therefore, he doesn't check email. I'm wondering why he doesn't move the computer DOWNSTAIRS! Does that make too much sense?
ANYWAY...I get up at 5:45...Stephen gets to school at 7:30 and he rides his bike and I ride my bike up behind him. Early day for a 1st grader! However, I was actually on my bike at 7:26, so, although I was up, I think the timestamp on this forum might be off by about an hour. Oooops! :-o

Yeah, look! The time stamp says 10:26...it's an hour behind! It's 11:27! Hmmm. I'll have to take a look at this! But, but, but...I gotta go do something right now! Ralph, Clipper? If I don't get to that can you take a look?

Well that didn't work. Ralph? Can you fix the time stamp?

I'd be interested in talking about the old bands from the 50s-60s, and what I know best - microencapsulation as pertaining to nuclear physics. Uh ... better stick to the bands. And beer!

Time difference probably has something to do with Daylight Savings Time, otherwise you'd have noticed it long before this. I could tell you how to fix it on a Mac but not a PC. (I've looked and looked and my Macs don't have an Alt key) Yeah, Dave doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb in the chandelier when it comes to computers does he? Does he still play the guitar in a band, or is he too old now? So, now that I have your attention, are you going to run the Boilermaker this year? (You know I'm going to continue bugging you about this)

ADDEDNUM: I wonder if Dave Griffin's golf floozy driver has a couple of nice... uh... er... woods. I also wonder if he is going to do the Boilermaker this year. By the way, I'm KC2GQR and have worked at Faxton for the past several years. A very dubious honor, but Kim knows me.

Kit's, it's true I spoke of floozies, but I didn't think anyone was listening. Frankcor is my official biographer. Me (n2chi) and K4LV worked the BM this year at adjacent posts in front of the old State Hospital. I don't know about Rich, but I felt right at home.

From what I've heard, Dave doesn't move from the couch very often. I haven't seen or talked to him in almost 7 years, though. I have, however, talked to Lynda....kind of. She kept emailing me forwards that have been going around the internet for a very long time and I emailed her back and asked her, kindly, to knock it off. I think she is now officially pissed at me. :-o
