Swimmy: re: Obama's position on Iraq I agree that invading Iraq turned out to be a mistake. But by the time we realized it was a mistake, it would have been an even greater mistake to pull out prematurely. Six months ago, Anbar province was one of the most dangerous places on earth. While Obama was calling for a withdrawal, McCain was calling for a surge. On Monday, the US Military turned over control of Anbar to the Iraqi army. So who was right? McCain or Obama?

blogs.abcnews.com/theworldnewser/charlie_gibson/index.htmlJust a little Blog news from Charlie Gibson on his scoring the first televised formal interview with VP candidate Sarah Palin. I really love that Charlie 'gets' it. I can't wait for the debates! Far as Iraq and whose on first whats on second... John Mccain was right all along. We don't need to disgrace America and her fighting men and women a second time. That is how we lose battles. We're at war against the extreme Muslim faction no matter WHERE that leads us.

Now that Mr. Obama has admitted the surge was a success only the fringe elements of his own party are continuing to deny it.
Unfortunately, that fringe includes our own Congressman Arcuri.
