 Clip, my daughter said she heard on YNN during the week that there was a cookie contest in NY State and Hemstrought's half moons was the second place winner in all of NYS. In the article YNN mentioned, also stated, " half moons made in Utica, New York." That was pretty cool.  Don't ask me who won first place cause Missy can't remember.  ;D

yes that's my aunt sweet lady for sure...I guess when we get together we got to go and due up some dogs .....LOL NYE Gyros got to love them also....yum yum....

Ya'll missed some good dogs last summer when we were there in August. BZ and RJ had Ralph and Betty, Kathy and I over for a cook out. She had some Hoffmans hot dogs, and her famous marinated pork steaks done on the grill among other goodies to numerous to describe. I have to be nice for several months prior to coming up there. If I don't suck up a little bit, she won't make pork steaks and mini-cheesecakes for me. It is hard for me to quit busting on her for a month or so, but I manage, hahaha! |

Bobbbiez please give me the date for the grill out I'll not miss it this year,come hell or high water....lol Clipper sounds real good when he sucks up to you.I'm leaving here the end July be home in a couple of days I hope...I know someone like you knew all the things Clipper said about you is true,so why does he have to butter up to you and repeat all that everyone else knew for a long time?  .....LOL..... I think the hook is to far in by now LOL he is a fish out of water....I'll be home about the second or thirth of Aug.........Yes Clipper, I'm looking forward to meet you and sit around and shoot the hot dogs as we speak.....LOL I for one sure hope you can make it this year.....NYE

It sounds like we will most likely be there at the same time, but the NY trip is Kathy's vacation, and we schedule around her relatives and her desires. She moved here to help care for my mom and dad, so "going home" on vacation is left up to her to plan, and we do whatever she wants while we are there. Last year it was scheduled around a wedding, but this year I don't foresee any particular date being hard and fast.
