Try a delicious open face sandwich like this provolone cheese melt. Just brown one slice of your favorite bread in a little olive oil and set on a plate. In same pan, stack 5 slices provolone and allow to melt, then flip and transfer to top of bread slice. Sprinkle on a little red wine vinegar, some ground black pepper and fresh thyme. Maryanne Esposito Simple with a nice glass of red wine. Nice lunch or Supper. Serve with a salad.

Yum! Sounds delish. I will definitely try this one. Kathy has Maryanne's cookbook. We have yet to find a recipe in there that we DON'T like.
