When I go to the WKTV website and other sources, I get a prompt that tells me that I need to update Adobe Flash Player in order to watch the video. I am very paranoid about clicking on anything pertaining to Adobe Flash. I ended up with a virus the last time I followed a prompt and updated Adobe Flash. It cost me $100 to get rid of it.
Can someone provide me with a CLEAN link to load a safe version of Adobe Flash Player?

Also, the very first screen of the official Adobe site, adobe.com, has a link to the Flash player. Another problem you can run into when downloading any program from even an official site is the inadvertent loading of software you don't want. When offered the choice between "detailed installation, choose if you are an experienced user" and "easy install, recommended," take the detailed installation route. It is usually not at all onerous and you can say NO to all the extra software you would have agreed to had you chosen the "easy install, recommended."

Follow Dave's advice when updating software you already have as well. There are usually only 3-4 questions. For questions about where to put the file I usually don't care. For questions on whether I want to have an icon on my task bar or start page, it depends on how often I think I will use it. The ones to be careful on are those offering to add a Google tool bar on some such with yes being the default option. Then there is usually one offering to check for updates automatically. I usually accept that for things like anti-malware but it's a personal choice.

Yep, go right to the official source.
