Photo Issues

For some reason recently all my photos in "MY Documents" do not open. I will get an error message saying Windows can't access for me to check the name of the photo to see if it is correct.. I have to close out of it and then Click on File > Preview to view it where it opens in the preview window. I have Paint Shop Pro.

Does anyone know if this is a Windows issue or Corel PSP issue. Not sure why this has started happening (unless its cause Windows no longer supporting since Im still with XP)

Sounds more like a virus to me. Download free version of Spybot and run it. Also I'd run SmitFraud, which is also free and has solved more problems for me.

Also, have you lost any programs you might have used before to open your pictures?

I'm also still on XP and don't have that problem.

oh no plz no virus..... I have avast and superantispyware. it doesn't appear Ive lost any programs...at least none that I've come across yet. Just issue with photo program. thanks Dave I'll try those and see what I find.
