I found this recipe on line the other day and Kathy made them the next morning. They are very good and easy to make and they stay soft. Kathy always puts a slice or two of bread in the container with the cookies and the bread gets hard and dry but the cookies stay moist and fresh. I suppose they would be quite good frosted, but I simply like them without frosting so I can dunk them in a good cup of coffee or enjoy them with a tall glass of cold milk.
