Hard to believe that this could happen here in the United States. Only in Chicago where gun control is working so well to reduce their crime rates, have they found a way to short cut the justice system and bypass the courts, imprisoning people for indeterminate periods of time while refusing them access to lawyers or family. I guess their police and city hall show the same disregard for the Constitution of the United States that the White House does.
Rahm Emanuel is really cleaning up Chicago and making it much safer with such things as the gun ban and this shortcut to incarceration without arraignment or legal representation.
