Well I installed Windows 10 and the new internet browser. Now my speakers do not work and neither does Windows Media Center. I think WMC doesn't work because with Windows 10 there is no Media Center. My speakers are
Conexant CX202671 Smart Audio HD.

From the person who asked the question of Microsoft, "Windows 10 has said that drivers and applications would be compatible, but why are we getting these problems."
Because Microsoft lied. As they did with Windows 8, when I went through the same thing. I even ran a program that was supposed to tell me whether all my drivers were capable and ready. The program said they were. They were not.

Didn't work. I uninstalled then installed but it didn't work. Tried updating driver but it tells me the driver is of. I wonder if Chrome will do the same thing but that is still managed by Windows 10.

I followed what DewSun said to do with the link CB gave and it worked. The speakers are working. I was a nervous wreck doing it but it worked. Thank you CB and Dave for that link
