There is a legitimate site called Driver Support but why do you want to download anything from them? Unless you have a problem you are trying to trouble shoot, this doesn't seem like the best time to mess with things.

I have to agree Clarence. I won't download it if I don't need it. In my ignorance of such things I was wondering if I needed to update "drivers" on a regular basis. Heck, I have only a minimal idea of what a driver even is, haha. Thanks for the reply.

Generically, a driver is a small program which your computer uses to communicate with a piece of hardware, for example a printer. If you buy a new printer it may come with a disk which you have to use to install your printer. Your computer can then "talk" to the printer. Drivers do get updated, perhaps to fix a bug or install a new feature but it's not something to expect on a regular basis.

Thanks for the clarification Clarence. I HAVE heard the term "print drivers" now that you mention printers. I have an HP printer that I seldom use for anything other than a copying machine or a scanner. I don't print enough stuff and the ink always dries up before I use it up. My neighbor prints anything I need printed. I buy her a ream of paper now and then when it is on sale. I bet I don't have her print more than ten pages a year. It seems that when I DO want to copy something I find the ink cartridge dry or empty. Sher prints for me and if I need mulitiple copies I take the document to the bowling alley and have my friend john run them off on the xerox. The bowling association buys the bowling alley a toner cartridge or two and a few reams of paper in exchange for using their xerox machine when needed.
