Anyone have an idea what the price ranges are over at Ventura's? I haven't been there in many years and we were sent a gift certificate to go, but I was wonder how the prices were.

It's a bit pricey. Most entrees are around $20. But delicious. If you skip drinks, a couple can get out for around $60

Thank you Frank! Sounds like a plan. Our anniversary is coming up this month and I figured I would save that gift certificate for then.
I'm not too found of having much more than a glass of wine with dinner when out, and would rather do that at home anyways
I'll be the first night out we've had in a long time. I figured we might as well make it a good meal.
One we don't have to share with the birds!!

You earned it, Ralph. There are not many places better than Ventura's.

Frankie, you are so right. Ventura's is my favorite and since high school. Can't go wrong there for a most delicious meal and nice evening out especially for a special occasion.

My son had his rehearsal dinner there. The food was great and the family atomosphere was pleasurable. I would recommend it to anyone that likes good old fashioned italian food like mama used to make.
I recently read on Topix, where some moron was blasting the food and the cleanliness of the place. How silly. Any restaurant is going to have a "messy" kitchen when it is busy. There is a big difference between "messy" and "dirty". Ventura's has always been clean and a great place to eat.
My real favorite isn't open any more. That was Pescatore's. I loved that place, and they had the greatest linguine with white clam sauce. You actually got lots of clams, and identifiable pieces, not minced beyond recognition. MMMMM!

Hello Lucy. Ventura's is on the corner of Lansing St., and Kossuth Ave. Even if you go up Albany St. to Kossuth Ave., you'll see it. Shouldn't be a problem to find.

You're quite welcome girl. ;D Don't be afraid to try them. They do have an excellent reputation for their fine food. I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Ok so I was at Price Chopper yesterday and Ventura's is selling their sauce. So I bought it, I know I must be rich to buy a 5.00 jar of sauce. I wanted to try it. I was nervous at first because it was watery, but it was full of flavor. I must say it was worth the 5.00!

Lucy, Ventura's makes two types of sauce and that is their marinara sauce. That is my very favorite. Glad you enjoyed it.
