www.wktv.com/news/local/18108024.htmlObviously this women never watched The People's Court with Judge Wapner and heeded to the show's advice "Don't take the law into your hands, you take them to court". Seriously what was this women thinking or not thinking? If the biker didn't crash he probably would have turned around and slapped the shit out of her.

"Stupid is as stupid does" Don't know if it was her fault even though she did wrong, because they said excessive speed was the cause of death.

Agreed! Poor example for the youth of today. I wonder how she will sleep for the rest of her life? Can you say regret!

I can't tell you the number of times I've wanted to shoot asshole drivers who run the stop sign in front of my house but stop for others. I've called the cops who don't do a damn thing about it because in my neighborhood, there are several "people" who are in control and they don't want to pull over one of those "people". I gave them plate numbers, makes, models, everything. Nothing is done. So I've taken the liberty to stare them down, when I'm outside doing yard work, and harass them. It usually works, but for some of those "people" who drive down the middle of the road and honk at me for not pulling off the road when they pass by.
The motorcyclist should have been going the speed limit and stayed focused on the road. Instead she gets charged with reckless endangerment when it was the motorcyclist who was driving at excessive speeds in a residential area who couldn't stop for a car that pulled out in front.
I commend the authorities for deciding to promote excessive speeding in residential areas by charging a frustrated resident with reckless endangerment. Nothing like brilliant law enforcement. Afterall, we can't arrest the dead guy, he's the obvious victim!

Why didn't the police charge the car that pulled out in front of the motorcyclist?!
Isn't that car more guilty? Clearly the driver could tell that the motorcyclist was driving at a high rate of speed and could not slow down soon enough without hitting the car. Yet the car pulled out in front anyway. That's reckless too, don't you think. What about those people who pull out on purpose to force others to slow down? Isn't that more reckless because they invite a rear-ending?
Well kids, now you know that it's OK to speed excessively on a motorcycle. The only thing dumber than that is being a woman throwing a beer can into the road.

The woman should have never thrown the beer can. Point taken. I live on a corner city street that has a stop sign on the next block down each way. So, Stop sign, no stop sign, stop sign. People seem to enjoy seeing how fast they can get going before having to stop at the next stop sign. Now that nice weather is here and the windows are open, it is much more apparent. If it isn't some idiot kid in souped up Neon with his bass up too much, it's someone on a motorcycle with the engine screaming.
Some motorcyclists (not all), are morons especially at the beginning of the season because the are all giddy after waiting for the winter to be over. I witnessed not one but two idiots on motorcycles last week weaving in and out of traffic, speeding & popping wheelies in heavy 5:00 traffic.
Where are the police when you need them?

I agree, But lets not promote civilian vigilance. Again we can not take the law into our own hands. I live on a street that is used as a cut through and cars speed up a down all the time. We had a car role over trying to go around another car pulling into a driveway. But I do not throw things at the cars going by. This behavior is childish and no better than the car violating whatever law.
