I wonder if they will stick with the 9mm or up to the .40?
I would go for more bang for the buck!!

 Ralph, all agreed upon. When it comes to the Police Department and the Fire Department they should have the proper up dated equipment and replaced on a regular basis.  We the taxpayer know it's for our best interest and protection. None should bitch about the issue. Besides, our taxes will go up anyway, so at least, in these areas we know the money is spent well and it is for our best interest alone.

Ralph,
I believe they upgraded to the 40 cal a few years ago. I can't remember the year, but a Utica Police Officer shot a black women in the chest twice as she was coming at him with a knife. The 9mm had little effect on her and no stopping power. I can't remember if she died but I do remember a big uproar from the community.
I would hope they stay with the 40 or upgrade to the 45.

Todd, that incident happened about 15 yrs. ago and she was shot twice in center mass with a 9mm but didn't die. Sh-t, they're a little more powerful then a BB gun. ;D Our Police Department upgraded to 40's and the new upgrade is going to be 45's.

WOW! How time flies when your having fun. So she lives with two little reminders looking at her, kinda like a Policeman's eyes haha. Sometimes I just kill myself. ;D
It's good to hear of the upgrade to the 45's. I think the State Troopers have been using the 45 cal Glock for awhile now. The fire power is well needed with what they have to go up against on a daily basis.
To the guy that challenges this fire power, well it's gonna hurt and definitely will leave a mark haha. ;D There I go again. ;D
