John Francis "Jack" Graham

John Francis Jack Graham, 66, of Country Club Court Apts., New York Mills, passed away June 9, 2014, at St. Lukes Home. He was born June 16, 1947, in Binghamton, NY, the son of Hugh and Velva Graham. In 1965, he graduated from New Hartford High School and attended Midwestern University in Ames, Iowa. In 1968, he married Courtney (Mickey) Logan. Jack was a free spirit and accomplished guitar player who followed the call of the rock and roll music world. He played in several popular bands throughout the area for over 50 years and was part of several records and recording sessions. Jack also studied tap and jazz dance from the ages of 5-13. Surviving Jack are his son, Christian T. (Marti Gulla) Graham, and cherished granddaughter, Morgan K. Graham, Las Vegas, NV; brother, Robert H. (Debra) Graham; nephews, Zachariah (Kim) and Daryl (Heather) Graham and AJ Buell; and great-nephews, Francis, Tristan and Mason Graham, Michael Rooney and Avery Buell. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Velva. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 2-4 p.m. at Surridge & Roberts Funeral Home, 470 French Rd., Utica. Funeral services will commence immediately following visitation at 4 p.m. Inurnment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Jacks family would like to thank Victor and Jill Voss, Cecily Bowman, Cheryl Logan and the entire Voss, Logan and Grimes families for their constant love and support. They would also like to thank the staff at St. Lukes Home for the care and compassion shown to Jack. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Jacks name may be made to the
