Kathy usually makes her own bread dough, but I recently bought a bag of frozen bread dough to try frying. This morning she cut it into chunks, flattened and stretched them into 4 or 5 inch discs and made fried dough for breakfast. It was very good. All she did was put it into a container last night to thaw and rise. This morning it had filled the container. All she had to do was punch it down and cut it up in portions.
I am sure she will continue to make her home made bread, but instead of messing with making dough for fried dough, the frozen bread dough is just fine for frying. After frying she shakes hers in a bag of white cane sugar, and I put butter and syrup on mine along with a sprinkle of cinnamon. YUM! Three of those chunks of deliciousness and a cup of hot and black Folgers and I thought I had died and went to heaven.

We make pizza bread the same way. Pizza dough or bread dough Let it rise Then roll to about ¾ inches thick and bake at 350 for about 30 mins Coat with egg wash all over on outside for crispness and shine Fill with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and parm Leave it on the counter in bag and when it begins to fill up and bulge you know its ready. I bag pepperoni for two breads and and a 16 oz bag of shredded mozzarella for two Can use some sauce
Or subsititute with spinach and mozzarella.
