I have been eating some fantastic tomato so far this summer either in a Greek Salad or the Italian way with motzarella, fresh basil and great olive oil. It has been a pleasure for me.

I am not even sure what variety I planted this year. I know they were some sort of beefsteak like tomato. We have had some wonderful results and wonderful tomatoes and I have done absolutely NOTHING to really care for the plants. I didn't even stake them up. Kathy went up before breakfast this morning and picked 8 or 9 perfect tomatoes. We have not dusted or sprayed anything on them, and they are pest free, blemish free, no cracks or scabs, and a beautiful, evenly ripened, bright red color. I guess mother nature has given us the correct environmental and weather conditions for them to simply thrive this year. I just finished a tomato sandwich with mayo for my lunch.
