I just drove up to my son's school and put his bike in my little bug (no easy task, mind you!) and brought it back home due to the impending storm. However, once I got the bike home it stopped looking as threatening outside. It had better at least rain now that I did all that! :-o
Now I have to drive back up to the school to pick him up. There was no way I could have fit both him AND the bike in the bug at the same time!

Kim, isn't it time you purchased a real car? You could fit all the kids in your neighborhood, their bikes and even all their video games in a new Tahoe Hybrid. And still get 21 mpg. heh heh heh

Kim would not be Kim without her bug. And the critter would never be the same if she got rid of it. When he gets a little bigger and needs a larger bike, I think she will have to resort to a bike rack for the backend or roof. The at least she won't have to make two trips, haha.

Well, we do also have a Tundra, but my husband drove it to work! :-o
I love my bug. It's a Turbo, even! :-) I can feel the road...it's like a sport cars! I think a bike rack might be a good idea, though!

The furthest I've ever ridden was from Clinton to Wampsville. Why? I was bored.

When I first got out of the army, I rode a bike back and forth between Oneida and Rome. I was in love, I didn't have a car yet and it was faster than walking or doing the airborne shuffle.

Yes Frank, I can sympathize with the "love" thing. I used to walk and hitchhike from Newport to Middleville to see a beautiful young lady. She was the love of my life, and I would have crawled that far through broken glass to see her. She is still just as beautiful today, but she lives to far away to walk, and besides her husband and my better half might consider such a visit inappropriate, haha. We are just good friends and e-mail penpals now, along with a couple of other folks from my graduating class.
It is amazing the mileage we got out of a surge of hormones at that age, LOL. I did that trip a good many times in blizzards and rain storms. LOL
