Could have been the server dropped off-line for a bit, too many connections in or something similar.
It happens every now and then. Usually about the time kids start getting home from school until later in the evening.

I don't think that is the case guys!!! LOL!!!!
There are over 2 million plus message boards like this on the ProBoards servers. I don't doubt that a goodly portion of them are for gaming and other stuff and are "kid" orientated in some way shape form or another (as well as other stuff)
I think they get overloaded at certain times and just reject any attempts for them to connect.
It happens to us on our other board as well.
