:(I guess the only riggie sauce that I don't like is the Vodka infused sauce. McGills was alright with the vodka, but as I said before, I cleaned the carpets there just once when I had my business, and I never ate there again, haha!

To me, it's not a fair contest unless you let everyone compete. You don't stick one restaurant in the "Hall of Fame" because you don't want them to win anymore.

Seems to me that they would let Teddy's compete, and it would make the other places work harder to come up with a recipe that could beat Teddy's in the contest. Wouldn't that make better sense, than "banishing" them by putting them in the hall of fame and not letting them compete any more?

Yes, you would think. If I was competing, I wouldn't want to compete unless I could compete against the best.

On Oriskany Blvd. (Route 69) near where Route 291 comes out. It was Yellow Jackets at one time.

I drove by it yesterday. They had their Riggie Championship banner on the front of the building. It is the last place in the world you would expect to have good riggies. It's the kind of place that doesn't serve much more than beef jerky and pickled eggs.

It's actually not too bad inside. There is the bar, but families do go there to eat in the restaurant part. I've been there. Pretty good food.
You can't judge a restaurant by the outside....look at the Franklin Hotel!!!! In that case you can't judge the food by the inside! Haha!

Personally i do not like Chicken Riggies with Cream Sauce. I mentioned this before. I do however love riggies made with marinara sauce.. and i must say the BEST ones are the speghetti kettle in Kirkland on rte 5. OMG my fiance loves them, my mom and my grandma.. they are by far the best.... and you get a lot of them.. they serve them hot, med or mild... I always get them HOT.. try them if you are ever in that area.. i do know they are closed on Tuesdays...

Wow girl, I forgot all about the Spaghetti Kettle on Rt. 5. When I lived in Clinton we always eat there every Wednesday. Great food and, yes, their chicken riggies are excellent. You and I have pretty much the same taste in food. Must be that old fashion up-bringing.
