I'm normally pretty careful when I install a program product or an upgrade and I always avoid the "recommended quick installation" because it quickly loads a bunch of extra junk I don't want.
Anyway, the other day I upgraded to FF 17 and somehow I received a nasty little routine that puts a small magnifying glass on my screen and also screwed up posts here on the Forum. Well, not exactly screwed them up, but duplicated them so that I wound up posting the same message twice before I realized what was happening.
The culprit is something called Page Tweak. Luckily I got rid of it by disabling the Add On. I wonder if anyone else has seen this.
It IS possible it didn't come with Firefox, but that's the only software upgrade I remember doing before Page Tweak showed up, and as I mentioned it is an add on.

I just now did the update to version 17. No Page Tweak showed up.
