5 people injured after fight in Cornhill UTICA — Five people were injured after a fight broke out Monday near the 1500 block of Howard Avenue, city police said. Police said they’re continuing to investigate the incident, which broke out at about 11 a.m., and are waiting for the injured to be treated before interviewing them. “Medical take precedence,” Utica police Sgt. Steve Hauck said. “Once they’re treated then we can talk to then.” Hauck said little was known about the fight other than there was “a bunch of people there.” Police said they were uncertain as to whether there were weapons.
