Hey bobbbiez, welcome back! What the hell is the deal with a diet for summer?? You're no bigger than a "minute" now! Sheeesh! Do any dieting and you will have to trade in the Glock for a 22 or a bb gun, so the recoil doesn't land you in the next county.

Clipper, thanks for the welcome back , but don't think suckin up now is going to get you out of the hole you dug for yourself while I was done. Pay back is a bitch. Wait for it my friend. Don't worry when I loss weight I do have an exercise program I follow to strength the muscles also, especially the arms, so will have no problem handing my favorite equalizer.

Sorry Frankie, in my book the accomplice gets the same punishment as the one who does the crime. Stop whining and you'll just have to take your sentence like a man. Wimp!!

OK, lets talk stats: Won Lost Goals against Points Rangers: 42 27 199 97 Red Wings 54 21 184 115 scoreboards.aol.com/nhl/standings_conference.aspThe stats show that the Red Wings are statistically the superior team here. Now I will be the first to admit that the Red Wings tend to choke in the end, but until this series is over I'll still go for the hometown team. Don't worry, if the Red Wings get knocked out I'm right in there for the Rangers, immediatly after any Canadian team. Oh yeah, or any other original 6.

That didn't lay out the way I wanted it to, but just line up the 4 catagories with the numbers.

Red Wings just took game six 3 to 0. Nashville is out and now we just wait for who's playing in the next round and when.
"GO WINGS!!!!!!!"

Dan, you are right about one thing, they CHOKE, CHOKE, CHOKE!!! ;D You said, "home team." Where the hell is home for you? I always rout for my home teams. If not for the Rangers then another N.Y. team. Could never understand living in one area and then routing for another. Not in my way of thinking when someone wants to rout for their "home team," and definitely not another country. Especially those damn Canucks. Been to plenty of games there and they are the rudest fans, (next to Red Sock fans), I have ever encountered. Wouldn't give them the time of day, never mind rout for their teams. It's no wonder Wayne left them to live here in the States.

Hello Bobbbiez,
Check out my location. I'm originally from Frankfort, displaced to Gods Country, Detroit (you think West Utica is getting rough!) and coming back home in about a year. I've always been partial to the Sabers, the Bruins and the Red Wings. I've got a friend in West Frankfort that I get into "discussions" with every time I'm out there about the Rangers. The Red Wings are a quality team with good coaching and solid players. I don't follow them as much as I did when they were running the 5 Russians up front. Watching them skate the puck down the ice was as close to poetry as you can get on ice.

Dan, I was going to ask you the scores of the Red Wings/Nashville game because I couldn't get that channel here. Thanks for the info. I never go by the stats and only because I believe whoever wins all in the end, no matter what sport, is the "superior" team. Can't count on the stats. Besides, the underdog does have a way of proving the stats wrong in many sports. The underdog's hunger is more impressive then any stats. After all, look what the N.Y. Giants did this year against the season undefeated Patriots. That was awesome!!!! ;D Now, that's hunger! So much for the stats. Good luck to your Red Wings. They'll need it if they play the Rangers in the end. ALL THE WAY NEW YORK RANGERS!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to a "super power" playoff. I'd rather have 2 big market teams go against each other rather than another San Jose/Florida type cup playoff.
