Dale Jr. took a pretty good shot when Mears hit the wall and rolled down the track in front of him. An hour later, he was just barely making sense when they tried to interview him in the garage. But then, he doesn't pretend to be an orator.

How true, how true. I guess we'll have to wait for the race to resume at 4pm now. If it does. Guess the man upstairs isn't in the mood for a race today.

Ok Wcup, it's my turn to bite my nails tonight . They did it to me again tonight . The game is on the same time as American Idol. So, gotta keep switching channels and I know I'll be missing either a damn good play by the Rangers or a great performance on the Idol. Oh , such sacrifices we have to make in our lives . Whatever! GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Gosh Bobbbiez, when there are teams named after powerful things like Sabres and Hurricanes, why would anyone name a hockey team after such a wussy thing as a cheap, underpowered Ford pickup truck??? Just curious, haha!
Just busting on you. I don't know crap about hockey and don't watch it, so I can't make any intelligent observations about the chances of your team winning.
Just wanted to take a minute to pick on ya before I go bowling. Luv ya kiddo, haha.

Omg Clipper, you don't know much about hockey, do you??? The New York Rangers has held their name long, long before Ford decided to design the Ranger pickup truck . Besides, just think of the elite law enforcement group, the Texas Rangers, if you ever decide to watch the New York Rangers play. Montreal 6 - Buffalo 2 . Not going to say a word. Hey dear friend, kick some a-- bowling. luv ya to.

Oh! that clairified it all. Now I have visions of Chuck Norris and that black guy, flying around a rink on skates, throwing kicks and karate chops, and blood everywhere!
My ex-wife's niece, that I still stay in contact with, is a lawyer in Wash. DC, and her and her husband drive or fly to NY all the time to watch the rangers play. I used to go to hockey games with my father's uncle when the comets played at the arena in Clinton. That was the last time I watched a hockey game.

Hey Clipper, your visions of Chuck Norris and etc., aren't to far off of a hockey game Boy, are you really dating both of us mentioning the Clinton Comets Great memories when hockey was well supported by many in this area. A few years back I had the pleasure of meeting again one of my favorite Comet players, Dick Popel, at the old Nancy's Tavern in Hickley. He was a small guy but could he skate and give out a check and able to take one back. I remember he was the only one who wouldn't wear a helmet during the game. It wasn't mandatory back then and he chose not to wear one when all the other players did. When I met him at Nancy's he wasn't doing too well for himself for reasons I won't divulge. What a shame but as I told him at our meeting he will always be my favorite player when I reminiscence about the Comets. Well tonight I can relax. The Rangers aren't playing till tomorrow. Saves on the nails ;D, but I will watch Buffalo playing against the Red Wings tonight. Not my favorite team but will rout for them since they are a New York team.

;D Bobbbiez, Dicky Popeil and I are were very good friends when I lived in Hinckley and Remsen. I stood up beside him one night when there was a fight with some out of town dumbasses at the hotel, and we have been friends ever since.
We will have to PM someday about that friendship. He didn't have a drivers license, and I used to tote him around. Sometimes he would get banned from a place, and they would not let him in unless he was with me, haha.
I remember once, he rode a snowmobile from Prospect to Hinckley in the summer time, because it was the only transportation available at the moment, haha.

Wow, Clipper, it is a small world . He was the best in my book. I always use to enjoy watching him play and even went to the Old Timer"s game after they had all retired just to see him play again. Was thrilled to see them all but went purposely to see Dick. You'll have to tell him when you're with him again that he still has fans out there that do appreciate his contribution to hockey and this area. I'm sure that will brighten his day and he'll deserve having that feeling. Hey, with having a friend like Dick how the hell did you not get interested in hockey .
